OlderJimmy Kimmel: I’m Effing Ben Affleck!
Jimmy Kimmel got revenge on longtime girlfriend Sarah Silverman and Matt Damon. (Remember earlier this month, Silverman admitted to effing Damon.)
Kimmel created a rebuttal music video revealing his newfound romance with Matt’s childhood friend Ben Affleck on the TV special Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards.
Jimmy enlisted the help of some of his hot shot friends which included: Harrison Ford, Cameron Diaz, Don Cheadle, Robin Williams, Huey Lewis, Rebecca Romijn, Macy Gray, Pete Wentz, Dominic Monaghan, Joel and Benji Madden, Josh Groban, Christina Applegate, Meat Loaf, Perry Farrell, Lance Bass, Joan Jett and Christopher Mintz-Plasse “McLovin” sang along with a gospel choir exhibiting solidarity for Kimmel and Affleck. There was even a special congratulatory cake presented to the host by a superstar delivery man–Brad Pitt!

I thought Jimmy and Ben’s video was funnier.

They rarely photographed together. Could he afraid him being over exposed like benneifer#1? I think it’s nonsense. He’s married now with a daughter. Why can’t he enjoy the moment and let it flow. The dude has some issues. If I was Jenn I will be pissed not have my man at my side.

Nah, Ben doesn’t do the red carpet, both have said so. If Ben was going to walk out of a marriage, why is he still dining with his wife, on the set in Boston for her movie, and why are they buying another house?

#73 I am trying to picture Jennifer A. with Ben Affleck. Gosh they might be 2 peas’s in a pod. Jen Garner to me still has a whole lot of movies left in her. I think Ben is like 20 years ahead of her as far as making movies. He would probably be glad to stay at home with Jen A. and write a book while she had babies. I used to dislike Jen Aniston but I think she has probably suffered a whole lot in the last 3 years. I think it’s time for her to have some joy in her life.

Both videos were hysterical but the ‘revenge’ was sweeter. I was expecting him to have some glam gal but to make it Ben Affleck was outstanding. And to get so many to participate was a scream. Loved Brad and Harrison the best. Very clever, Jimmy. In the war of the sexes I would have to give you the win, for now!

We haven’t had much to say about the video hits “I’m F*cking Matt Damon” and the sequel “I’m F*cking Ben Affleck” largely because, like a Saturday Night Live skit, they drag past the point of being funny pretty quick. Plus, Sarah Silverman is in them. But, on the other hand, anything that elevates the profile of our local boys done good is fine with us.
Perhaps presidential candidate Barack Obama is a fan, since he’s enlisted the help of Affleck and his wife Jennifer Garner to raise money in Boston next month.
The A-list couple will appear at VENU on March 16 at 7 p.m. A $50 ticket gets you in the club to hear the couple talk about why they support Obama, and a $250 V.I.P ticket gives you the opportunity to be separated from the riff-raff and attend a private meet-and-greet where you may be lucky enough to snap a picture with the stars for your MySpace page.
