Hard Candy — Madonna’s New Album

Madonna’s new album is called Hard Candy (Yes, just like the 2005 movie starring Oscar nominee Ellen Page, Sandra Oh and Patrick Wilson).

Her rep, Liz Rosenberg, tells EW that Madonna chose to stick with the sweet theme because “she loves candy. It’s about the juxtaposition of tough and sweetness, or as Madonna so eloquently expressed ‘I’m gonna kick your ass, but it’s going to make you feel good.’”

You can suck on your own Hard Candy starting April 29 when it hits stores nationwide.

Hmmm…I love Madonna, but I’m so not feeling the title. It’s very Mariah Carey. But, then again, I also felt the same about Music.

Candy Perfume Girl…now that’s a title!

Woop! Tres excitement!

Though I’m also apprehensive about her going all supposedly “hip hop” & using the ubiquitous Timbaland as producer (seriously can Timbaland just go on holiday for a year or 2?! …every song nowadays is done by him or has him in the background or something)

Still, any Madonna album is a good thing to look forward to!

She should’ve called it Candy Galore/Raw Sugar/Sweetness/Treats
anything but a nail polish brand from the 90’s. Too late now..

I just hope her new album doesn’t sound too Justin Timberlake/Timbaland. I don’t like their sound.

Has anybody hear about Pop Fiction. This show on E! Its going to be on air March 9th. If anybody know about it let me know. Also ive seen these too. I think this show is going to be good. It has to be its so secretive.

I have been a fan of Madonna since 84, this year will be the biggest test for me as a fan. I really can’t stand all that hip hop s**t. Madonna fans have grown up with her pop sound, she could alienate a lot of fans with the change in style. Heard leaks of ‘candy shop’ and ‘4 minutes’ and they sounded weak. the picture here is old Btw.

i heard 4 minutes and it’s the worst song i’ve ever heard. I love madonna very much, i think she’s a genius but if there is justin timberland we can’t expect anything good, that song it’s too justin and 0 madonna, i don’t know what happen. I expect that the complete album don’t be like that
