Harlow Madden is a ‘People’ Cover Girl

Nicole Richie and daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden, almost 7 weeks, are on the cover of the People Magazine this week. The issue, on newsstands Friday, talks about who the baby looks like, for whom she was named and who was the first to cry – Nicole, 26, or boyfriend Joel Madden, 28.

On the six weeks since the baby’s arrival: “It’s almost like I don’t even remember what life was like before her. She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose.”

On breastfeeding: “There’s just so much I can’t eat because she’s sensitive, I eat really bland [food] – chicken noodle soup, vegetables, fish. I had to cut out milk, no tomatoes, no lettuce. You think you have to cut everything out when you’re pregnant, but you really have to cut everything out when you’re breastfeeding.”

On how long she was in labor: “I don’t know because I don’t know what time I actually went into labor, but I pushed for 10 minutes.”

Harlow’s going to be a hottie!

She is cute as almost every baby is. I actually think my baby nephew is even cuter. I like the idea of naming a baby this way, it is almost like a story…

That baby looks like Nicole’s black/Puerto Rican family. She will have curly hair. Id anyone has ever seen Pete E. & Sheila E’s sister.
