The wonders of shaving!
Brad Pitt looked mighty young on the Texas set of his new movie, Tree of Life.
Working the newsboy cap once again!
Sean Penn also stars in the film. The Tree of Life, directed by Terrence Malick (The Thin Red Line), opens in 2009.

Janice thanks for the link, Brad is so tall in that video, is he 6′2″ or 6′1″? He even talked to the little boy, how cute. I’m glad, the Jolie-Pitt’s find it peaceful & quiet in Bastrop, Texas. I hope, the papz will not invade their privacy in Texas, they need a break specially Angie who is pregnant. I miss seeing the whole family but that’s okay as long as we know they are having a quiet family time.God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

I have no idea where everyone is posting.
Here’s the video (that goes along with these pictures).
Brad spots the paps and decides to split. LOL.

++++++++++++++++
That’s not exactly accurate. The video has obviously been edited together to cover a long period of time during which Brad was on the set. After Brad spotted the ratzi he actually went into a house and then later in the cut it comes back to him leaving. And remember, this is a guy who says he can always sense when the ratzi are shooting him, so even when he was walking down the street talking to the production assistant chick he had to have known he was being snapped. He left when his business was concluded and not to ditch the ratzi. When has Brad ever altered his life because the ratzi had found him? He used to talk about how the ratzi sat outside his and X’s house and sometimes he would get into his vehicle and drive around aimlessly just to jerk them around. They’d think he was going someplace or was meeting someone and he’d drive all over LA…and then go back home! LOL. He just thought it was fun to yank their chains and waste their time and they ended up with no sellable photos. He always figured nobody wanted to buy pix of Brad Pitt just driving in his car. Well…that was true then, but now days they can sell just about any photo of Brad because there are just so many more avenues for sales. The blogs & fan sites who want unwatermarked photos have to buy the pix they post or get sued like Perez.

Female artists rain down their renditions of Florida storms onto canvas
LASHONDA STINSON

Nature can be blissfully beautiful. It can also be incredibly brutal.
In a new exhibition, 10 female Florida artists capture the calm and the chaos of storms, specifically the hurricanes in recent years that ravaged the Southeast.
“Aftermath: Women Artists Respond to HERicanes Katrina, Frances and Jeanne” is on display at the Webber Center Gallery through March 29. The Florida Chapter of the Women’s Caucus for Art organized the exhibit, which has only been accessible to the public in its entirety twice before. Donations made at the gallery during the exhibit will benefit the non-profit organization Make It Right, the group leading a large-scale redevelopment project of green and affordable housing in the Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans. Actor Brad Pitt is the founder.
The artists participating in the show are Betty Bay, Karen Carasik, Judith Kaplan, Fern Matthews, Tisse Mallon, Elizabeth St. Hilaire Nelson, Judith Segall, Bonnie Sprung, Anjal Soler and Cheryl Turner.
Some of these women were personally impacted by the storms and others simply inspired. Through paintings, photography, collages and mixed media, the women beautifully interpret the serenity before a storm, the havoc during it and the devastating aftermath.

ew Orleans: Vacation or Volunteer Here and Help the City Revitalize
The Big Easy is unique and beloved. Rebuilding New Orleans must be an American project; the region needs the help of all Americans so pitch in and help New Orleans regain its vitality. Support the rebuilding of New Orleans with your tourist dollars. Help New Orleans by taking a vacation to the Big Easy, volunteering, holding your wedding there, starting a business there, or shop on-line at the stores of New Orleans.
I have been to New Orleans on vacation and for business and I have wonderful memories of amazing fun in a city alive with culture and creative energy. Recently I thought of New Orleans as I was walking along the boardwalk on the ocean. It was Fat Tuesday and I heard a burst of New Orleans’ style music. I smiled as I looked over to the road and saw a man on a bicycle wearing an iridescent hat with beads and streamers flowing off it. There was a large green sign hanging off the back of the hat that referenced Mardi gras. It was nice to see that even so far away from New Orleans that the whimsical spirit of Fat Tuesday was out in full display.

March 3, 2008
Focus Features today announced that it will open Burn After Reading, the new film from Joel and Ethan Coen, Academy Award-winning directors of this year’s Best Picture Oscar winner No Country for Old Men, domestically nationwide on Friday, September 12th.
Joel and Ethan Coen are writers, producers, and directors of Focus Features and Working Title Films’ Burn After Reading. The director of photography on Burn After Reading is Academy Award nominee Emmanuel Lubezki (Children of Men). BAFTA Award nominee Mary Zophres is the costume designer, marking her eighth consecutive feature with the Coens. Jess Gonchor, production designer on No Country for Old Men, encores in that capacity.

Angelina Jolie adopts classic Old Hollywood look in stunning new ad campaign
Last updated at 19:29pm on 3rd March 2008
With none of her trademark tattoos in sight, Angelina Jolie models the new range of clothing brand St. John - looking a world away from her tough action girl role.
A demure-looking Angelina looked every inch the old school Hollywood beauty with her shiny brunette hair piled loosely on top of her head, while wearing a classic LBD from the American luxury label.
Thanks for the wonderful posts and link BDJ :-)
Let’s make it an MIR week, right? ;-)
bdj
Thanks for all the great articles. You are a wonderful source for keeping me up to date on our favorite family. :)

I loved the script to The Changeling. It’s an amazing true story and I suspect Eastwood will knock it out of the part.

(More info about HBO Drama Series produced by BP and AJ)
It turns out that one of the men who stood with Al Gore to accept the 2007 Oscar for best documentary had already been the key creative force behind several well-known projects.
If you were amused by the “Got milk?” television ads of the early 1990s, thrilled by the movie “The Bourne Ultimatum,” rocked by Van Halen’s music video “Right Now” or moved by the documentary “An Inconvenient Truth,” you can thank Scott Burns, who worked as copywriter, co-writer, co-director and co-producer on these projects, respectively.
Now, the 45-year-old Burns is writing an HBO drama series, produced by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, about the travails of international aid workers. And in April, Steven Soderbergh will begin directing Burns’s screenplay, “The Informant,” about the Archer Daniels Midland Company antitrust case.

Wanted Is Filming Scenes in New York City
Thursday, February 28th, 2008
If you’re looking to be a part of Wanted, the adaptation from Mark Millar’s graphic novel of the same name, then it’s time to head to the Big Apple. According to a posting from the New York City Mayor’s Office of Film, Theater and Broadcasting, the film will be shooting in New York City between March 8 and March 17, 2008.
The posting states:
Wanted Company: NBC Universal Address: 15 Washington Ave., Bldg 5, 3rd Fl, Brooklyn, NY 11205 Contact: Greg Outcalt Scout: 2/25/08-3/14/08 Shoot: 3/8/08-3/17/08 Comments: FF27s
Wanted is the first English-language film by Russian screen-writer Timur Bekmambetov, and stars James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie, Morgan Freeman, and Common. It revolves around an apathetic 25-year-old (McAvoy) who discovers that his murdered father was a member of the Fraternity, a society of assassins with special powers. A woman named Fox (Jolie) lures him in to the Fraternity, which trains him how to use his formerly dormant powers to avenge his father’s death. The film is based on the graphic novel series created by Mark Millar.

Don’t forget to make a donation to the MIR Project. The fund raiser is still going strong. Thanks for a great web site Just Jared. Peace to all.
Thanks BDJ for all the links and articles. You are awesome!
hey bdj, thanks for corraling us over here…that dam’d limbarf thread has going on 1400 posts…I wish we had stayed out of it to begin with. I hope JJ doesn’t do that again…it’s disgusting linking aj with that cretin in any way, shape or form.
guli, I just read your post on Angie’s thread. Did you get my message. I appreciate your attempting to get me the news. I have received all of your e-mails, but there isn’t a message. I don’t understand why that is happening. Others have sent me e-mails from there and they all included a message. Oh well. Maybe I am just not suppose to know. But if you are willing to give it one more try I am willing to see what happens. Thanks Peace
BDJ, I think I have said this you once before but you are single handedly keeping makeitright on the forefront of our brains. You are doing a great job. And thank you for all of the interesting posts and articles. I am really interested in the article on volunteering.
I didn’t mind the RL thread so much. Some really great posts were written over there. And some really dumb ones also. I am always enthralled to see the minds of the fans on display. The joliepittls have some really diverse and intelligent fans. Of course some can get off the hook sometimes. I have done so a couple of times myself. But on average we are good bunch. I guess JJ is giving us what he has. The joliepitts have gone underground. And until they surface I guess we will have to post on old threads.
