He is the character. Brad’s a brave actor that takes chances, and risks — he’s a character actor trapped in a leading man’s body. He has no problem, looking goofy, old,. greasy, odd, toothless, beaten up, shaven, cross eyed, you name it - hell, even the actors who are legends now, Redford and Newman didn’t do what Brad Pitt does in a role in their heyday in terms of appearance. Hell, i’ve seen most of Redford’s movies, and never has one strawberry blonde hair been blown out of place. So when will you dumbazz jealous homely losers, MAD because your idol is drying up on the vine as ugly as ever - stop punishing brad (and angie!) for her misery - by ridiculously trying to call them out while they’re in preparation for a film character??!! It’s just stupid as hell. Brad is playing a character in a movie, he’s not posing in GQ for Tom Ford. I realize you have watched Friends for 12 years on TV, and have no idea what it even MEANS to see a legitimate characterization and REAL acting - the closest you’ve come is watching Rachel Green switch from a side part, to a middle part during the course of a TV season - and go from a dark orangey bronze body bling, to a summer tan body bling in the course of a season. You know she’s emoting,when she instructs her makeup artist to go heavy on the blush. That’s the extent of her ‘acting,’ and transformation. That b*tch makes Patricia Heaton from Everybody Loves Raymond, look like Meryl Streep. So do yourselves a favor - leave off critiquing Brad’s ‘look,’ on movie sets, unlike your dumb no talent TV hack Maniston who brings her real life stylist and hair dresser to every movie set, Brad is an ACTOR who lets the film’s artistic directors, costumers and hair and make up aid HIS characterization. Maniston, doesn’t even know what the f**k that means. Her idea of characterization is wearing a barette in her horsehair - at 40 no less. What a f**king JOKE. Bahahahaha!

Awww, loving this new pic of Brad with the haircut. Okay, ’show of hands’ - how many here can picture in their mind a picture of Brad, when he is about 3 or 4, with this exact same haircut If I recall correctly, he was wearing a blue outfit… so cute! And of course it shows off his chipmunk cheeks - but make no mistake - he is at exactly the weight and ’style’ that is required for his role. He is a perfectionist in this regard and that’s part of why people enjoy seeing what film he will do next.

Really enjoyed some of the discussion on the Iraq thread… please keep posting there fans! I know I’ll be going back to read when I can, and I’m sure a few others will too… it’s a great article about one of the most important issues in our current political arena.

Terrence was born in Ottawa, Illinois, a town located near the Illinois river to a Assyrian father who was an oil company executive, he grew up in Oklahoma and Texas and worked on oil fields as a young man. He moved to Austin, Texas and graduated from St. Stephen’s Episcopal School. Malick studied philosophy under Stanley Cavell at Harvard University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa in 1965, and went on to Magdalen College, Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. So Austin is Malick’s homeground. Smithville sounds like a sleepy town with beautiful nature.

A lot of critics were saying TAOJJ’s meditative repeats resembles very much Malick’s. I have watched his movie The New World and Malick shot the nature in the film with poetic rythm of repetition.

At the end of story there was a shot of huge tree which surviving witness of a great love story and an evolution of America from Indian’s nativeland to States of America.

There is not much information about his new film but a leading role seems to go to a big tree. I feel The Tree will witness the evolution of human kind again.

It’s about time Brad! I was just complaining to my sister yesterday about how I hate his beard and whatever mess he was sporting. He looks so good now! =D
