On breaking up with Stephen Colletti:
“I just knew I wanted to breathe. I wanted to be single at the time. It just hit me like a ton of bricks: This is the time I need to be with myself. It takes such a secure person to be with someone like me—it takes so much confidence; it takes so much trust.”
On wanting to be girly and just have fun:
“If I was a wonderful person, I’d run around in whatever clothes and have one outfit – and then I’d donate the rest of the money to charity. But no one is perfect, and no one is saying you have to give up everything in your life to change the world.”
On what it was like fighting whalers in Japan:
“It was great! There’s very little that scares me. I’ve always been a physical person. And I feel like a lot of time in this industry, a lot of people loan their face to a cause, which is great, but it doesn’t do as much as getting out there and actually physically doing something.”

Hayden didn’t cheat on Stephen. Get your facts straight. Milo never even revealed to Hayden that he liked her until after they broke up.

She wasn’t cheating. She’s constantly being followed around town and is a target of tabloid trash. There were never rumors. Hayden did not cheat, regardless of what you say.
C’mon, she was in the Got Milk ad. She’s obviously for the exploitation of cows. Ok, if she’s a vegetarian, that’s the first I’ve ever read about it. Couldn’t find it anywhere online but if one article claims she is, then she Must be one (note the sarcasm). How long has she been one? 3 weeks?
You aren’t giving up “everything” in your life to become a veg. I understand that not everyone can be perfect, but if you love animals, that should be the easiest thing to do in your life. I know, because becoming a vegetarian (and eventually a vegan) was the easiest thing I’ve ever done. If she thinks giving up meat would be EVERYTHING to her, then she must really love meat.
And I don’t see as many candid photos of her as I do of Britney Spears or Vanessa Hudgens.
and yeah, you are really going too far with your “no they didn’t date until” “no he didn’t tell her until after” You can’t believe everything that celeb gossip tells you. I’m sorry if I shattered the world, but you can’t be sure that what they’re saying is right. A “source” or “friend of Halo” is not a reliable source.

Sinatrafan1990- When she filmed â??Racing Stripesâ?? in Africa, she visited cancer stricken infants and played with them and made feel special. Someone visisted these boards and told us about how Hayden made her granddaughterâ??s last hours very special.
Ah, the typical photo-with-a-starving-African-child bit. Everyone from Keira Knightley to Sharon Stone to Leonardo DiCaprio to Paris Hilton or whatever that vapid blonde’s name is, has done that. Do you know how many of them kept it up? Not many. I’m sorry, but when all you can say is that you occassionally show up for a photoshoot overseas to pose with children, or to hand a letter over, you hardly work with or for a charity. You’re a figurehead. I have no respect for or appreciation of figureheads. It’s trendy, because it’s easy.
And it’s great she’s always been in favor of whale saving. Honestly, I’m not just being a snarky witch; I never said she was a vapid ho-bag. She does seem sweet in her way.

Oh my god. Did you actually type that? “I have an IQ of 159″? Seriously? Sweetheart, if you actually have such a high IQ I’m sure I don’t have to inform you that while that would suggest you are intellectually gifted, it says nothing about your emotional and psychological maturity. Some geniuses have been noted for their child-like mindset. (Though 159 wouldn’t really qualify you as a genius.)
Secondly, saying that the Candies ad was more tasteful than the PETA ad is like comparing crap to diarrhea. It goes back to my earlier comment of saying that “at least she isn’t Paris Hilton” isn’t much of a compliment to anyone. Thirdly, if she said she’d never pose nude and she didn’t pose nude, then she hasn’t compromised her morals. The rest of that was pointless, as such.
I was referring to the Whales.
And I haven’t seen photos. Hayden wasn’t a big star then. There were no cameras. Hayden has appeared at various Children’s Rights benefits. She attened last year’s McDonals’ World Children’s Day and was seen sporting a T-Shirt for Invisble Children.

Quit hating. She’s an amazing girl and she puts herself forward better than any of the other young stars (Hilary, Lindsey, Paris). Milo and Hayden are perfectly fine, a lot of my parents friends marriages have big age differences. I don’t see you hating the money diggers whoring themselves to 80 year old tycoons.
She’s not fat, she’s healthy and if you say she’s fat then I guess you’re calling yourself fat too. In my opinion I like her body. She’s NORMAL. Get the drift?
She’s doing the Candies campaign and Seventeen like any other star would. It’s publicity and that’s what celebrity does. I stress, that’s why celebrities DO.
About the whole Stephen thing: F*** you!!! I broke up with my boyfriend after dating for a year and a half and he got a girlfriend a month later. I was fine with it. Just because she dated Stephen for a long time doesn’t mean that the relationship couldn’t have faded. Sometimes people stay together because it’s comfortable and they don’t realize that it’s time to move on. It’s human nature. You’re being way too critical.
