Zac Efron is One Slick Rick

well, also remember movies are usually adaptations of books and don’t follow them completely. sometimes characters are altered somewhat to suit the director/producer/adpated screenplay. i am actually choosing not to read the book so i am not disappointed by things that might be changed/left out/added. i am often let down by movie adaptations of books so i am wanting to have an open mind with this one. i’ve got a pretty good idea of the story so i’m just going to leave it at that.

Alexandra, I didn’t say ANYTHING that every teacher in my school doesn’t already know!!!! We talk about it everyday!! It’s just YOUR culture, and middle school kids have gotten WAY meaner through the years. I’m just saying, honey……and I am way nicer when I don’t see rudeness in kids. It’s one thing to express your opinion, but do it in a nice way. We don’t all like the same things, but we can be kinder.

I think both Zac and Vanessa would prefer that people focus on their careers and not their personal relationship. Why do you think they kept the relationship out of the public eye for two years? It was only after the Hawaii vacation that the general public knew who they were or that they were a couple.

I realize that the majority of Zac and Vanessa fans are girls as young as 6 and as old as 14. Most of these girls see him as Troy Bolton and they would love to be his Gabriella. Thus, they always say, “Vanessa is so lucky to have Zac.” These young girls are so enamored with Zac (Troy) that they think any girlfriend of his would bow down and worship him, kiss his feet, cater to his every wish and spend 24/7 gazing into his eyes with worshipful adoration, and spend endless hours cuddling and kissing.

That is NOT how it works in the real world. And yes, they do live in the real world.

We older fans see things differently than the younger crowd does. We see the “realness” in the relationship they wish to keep private. We read the script or book of their upcoming projects and root for them, hoping they both nail the parts they’re playing. We follow the progress of Vanessa’s second album–who’s producing it, what songs might be on it, when it might be released.

And yes, we all think that Zac is very lucky to have a sweet, down-to-earth girl like Vanessa in his live.

A lot of Independent movies are filmed in 4 weeks, sometimes 6. I think Juno and Sideways only took 4 weeks to film. There have been reports that no actors would be filming in NYC and that there will only be exterior shots done there. Maybe one reason Zac was drawn to read this script was because he knew he could do it quickly and do it after doing 17 Again but before he was to start HSM3. It seems like a good role for him. Many actors like getting their foot in the door for independent films.

Karen, making good sense as usual!! But I’m still sad about the possibility he may not come to NYC; us northeast angels were looking forward to our chance to see the filming up close. And hey, if Zac happened to walk by, well, then, woo-hoo!

It would depend on the shooting schedule. Maybe Zac was scheduled to film some scenes on a day where Claire wasn’t scheduled to have any scenes. That happens. But it doesn’t mean Zac wasn’t off for a couple days also just because we don’t have picture of him or we didn’t read that he had days off.
