Kate Walsh Returns to Grey’s Anatomy

I have mixed feelings here. I love Kate and the character of Addison. I never thought her story line was finished on Greys, but now that she is with a new group of characters I don’t know if I want her to return there. I do, however, think Kate Walsh will kick some major ass if she returns. Kate had this awsome chemistry with the cast, especially with Karev and Callie and the Chief and Baily and I would love to see that again. But I feel like this is such a ratings ploy on the part of GA and ABC. It’s like they are saying “If we put Kate on, they will come”.
I find it very interesting to read that most people are saying they will now have to watch GA again if Kate returns. I will watch the episode, but I just hope this doesn’t hurt Private Practice.

I still don’t know if this is true. Just yesterday, they confirmed it was only a rumor.

I wonder if she and PD will do scenes, seeing as he said he doesn’t really care for addison so maybe they’ll spare him and not put him with her.

I love Criminal Minds, I liked Addie but in GA, when she left I didn’t stop watching GA, it a great show and I didn’t hung with Private Practice.
Addie is popular but be realist, she wasn’t the most popular, well you’re her fans so I think it’s normal that you’re blind!!

Hopefully she will kick McDouchebag’s ass! Im glad she is coming back for a episode.

I dont think he mind KW, i think they get on well enough….not Friends friends but okay friends….its just he thought Addison was pointless beyond S2 and was always saying, why the hell was she there as long as she was…he thought she did nothing for the story….so i wonder if they’ll have them do scenes even thought he thinks addison is pointless??

Hopefully we get benefit pictures tonight, cant wait to see EP, SO and JC!!

The only reason why Kate is going back is because she is contractually obliged to. She has always said she wouldn’t because she did not think ABC would be so stupid as to bring her back so soon. They can fire her if they want so they are basically making her do this, I think.

The things ABC will do for ratings?

I said it before and I will say it again, this is a BAD IDEA!

PrP was just beginning to make a name for itself, other than the spin off of Grey’s and now ABC go and do this S-H-I-T well they can kiss all the promo work they did goodbye. Idiots.

That´s why Shonda is desperate to have her back.

But Addie belongs in PrP, although id like to see her on Greys once last time, kicking ass as always!

this is a GOOD thing! i loveed addison’s character on grey’s…she was different and kind of stole meredith’s spotlight. i missed her so much when she left grey’s…happy about this!

I so can’t wait to see why Addison comes back to Seattle Grace… When I heard this I screamed… I’m so excited!!!

obviously a ratings ploy by shonda.. it would not be the wisest decision, considering we’re still trying to adjust to the fact that addison will be permanently placed on a different show, but kate is classy enough to heed orders and make the most out of the situation.

WELL i can’t deny that i’m excited about this as well; i miss surgeon addie, i miss addison with the sex specs, and i miss her being her confident, sassy self around those mumbling emotionally-stunted doctors on greys!! please please i hope she has great scenes with callie, and of course with her men– mark, derek and alex maybe. i hope she comes back and leaves a mark on their miserable grey lives. it would be cool if she took back at least one of them to LA.. callie would be a top candidate, and Mark (eeep, maddison love!) could use some sunshine seeing as he’s thinking less sanely and hitting on Hahn, which has to be one of the dumbest plots ever concocted by shonda.

paddison is okay, but i think i like seeing addison smile with Hot Cop even more. alright.. i’m all rambly.. i’m just excited to see the old Addison on GA again!! thanks for the update Jared.

#82 Ummm..NO. Kate has no say in the matter. She does what ABC and Shonda tells her too. Kate has movie projects in the works and starts back on PrP in April for production, although it does not air til Fall. Considering Kate has movie projects in the works and a possible new movie in works, she is in no way desperate.
