OlderPatrick Dempsey is a Motor Man
Car aficionado Patrick Dempsey presents the first Subaru Boxer Turbo Diesel Motor at the Shoko Club in Madrid, Spain on Friday. The motor is the “first to equip passenger cars and has the benefits of balancing a low point of gravity, low vibrations, compactness and high rigidity.”
Tonight is “Good Medicine,” a musical benefit at UCLA’s Royce Hall put on by the cast of Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice (sans Kate Walsh) to benefit crew members who were affected by the strike. Guess McDreamy won’t be making it either. Cars are important!

This benefit was last minute so obviously this was a prior committment that he couldn’t get out of.
he didnt bail on his costars he made this commitment long b4 the benefit was announced. same thing with wals they contractual obligations the benefit was only planed 3 weeks ago.

SINCE KATE WALSH GOT MARRIED MORE THAN TWO MONTHS B4 THE STRIKE IT IS UNLIKELY. KATE WALSH WAS MARIED FIRST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER STRIKE STARTED NNOVEMEBR 5TH WHEN NO ONE HAD ANY IDEA IF THE STRIKE WOULD HAPPEN OR HOWLONG IT WOLD LAST.AND WHEN THE SHOW WRITERS ANNOUNCED THE BENEFIT THEY STATED THAT TR APPROACHED THEM WITH THE IDEA LATE INTO THE STRIKE.
Im sorry they were thinking about it then and the writers strike gave them a good reason to do it…still its been planned for a long time.
And hey the threat of the writers striking was way there way before they even did it.
i am well aware that the strike was coming but since it did not end until 2/14 a date was not set until that time which is y walsh and dempsey made previous arrangements. i doubt they called him last week to set this up when the writers announced the benefit they said they knew he would be unable to attend becuz he would be abroad. walsh initialy accepted then backed out when she could not get 0ut of her commitment.

I thought he was promoting his movie in Singapore, but he went to a freakin’ car show instead….what piece of crap….at least KW is promoting something. All PD is pimping his stupid ass racing crap….a team player he is not…

Okay people BACK OFF talking **** about Patrick. He has been in Spain for 3days shooting a commercial for Subaru I think ,so he didn’t go for the benefit cause he was working, okay? He’s not just an actor and he has the right to have hobbies!!so BACK OFF!!
