OlderRush Limbaugh Praises Angelina Jolie
Republican bullhorn Rush Limbaugh praised Angelina Jolie yesterday on his radio show, saying she makes more sense than the Democrats when it comes down to the issue of Iraq.
Here’s what Rush, 57, had to say about Angie:
“Everybody today is raving about a piece in the Washington Post by Angelina Jolie in which she just got back from Iraq. She says, ‘We have finally reached a point where humanitarian assistance, from us and others, can have an impact.’ Her point is to stay, help the Iraqis, especially those who are out of the country, want to come back home, the time is right now, and that the surge is working. Now, if you read the piece by Angelina Jolie today in the Washington Post, you will conclude that she is deeper and in ways more specific than Obama about this if you read the whole article. She makes more sense than Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama or anybody on the Democrat side about this. It’s stunning. I’ve had some people, ‘Rush, you realize, she didn’t write it.’ I don’t know that she didn’t write it. I’m not going to assume she didn’t write it… That’s another thing, that’s a good point, too, it’s pretty brave of her to do this, given Hollywood and so forth. But she’s big enough to withstand it, and it sort of makes me appreciate this Brad Pitt guy a little more. He’s gone after substance here, is all I’m saying. This really is a good piece.”

What, are you trying to convince us fans that angie is a bad mother, because she send her 3&4 year old children to daycare?? are you hens now saying she does not love or spend time with Z. I remember Zahara was basically glued to Angelina’s belly as she carried her all over the place before she could walk. Now she is a toddler it’s important for her to be in more social skills in daycare. Of course you know nothing about child-rearing so it’s better you go tanning and do some yoga to work on that tummy fat.

Hi Besane,
I’ve seen bunkbeds where the top bunk has a rail guard half way down the length of the bed in case you have a concern. I think it’s an Ikea brand. Also if you are concerned with the lower bunk, in the beginning pillows on the floor are reassuring until you are confident all is okay with them not falling off.

I guarantee NOT ONE PERSON OF INFLUENCE IS TAKING “HER OP-ED” SERIOUSLY. And why should they? When a “woman who cares” flies to Iraq DURING HER 1st TRIMESTER OF PREGNANCY, it’s REALLY HARD to see her compassion when she shows NONE for her unborn child OR the children she could have potentially left behind. Let’s keep in mind, THIS WOMAN HAS NO HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA. Most of the posters on this site have more knowledge of what is going on in Iraq than Jolie-you know how I know? BECAUSE IT’S OUR FAMILY MEMBERS WHO ARE FIGHTING THIS WAR. So, let me get this straight-WE SHOULD STAY IN IRAQ AND SHED MORE BLOOD IN ORDER TO HELP REFUGEES? Are you kidding me? When she has family fighting in Iraq and obtains, at the VERY LEAST, her GED, AND QUITS ACTING AND BECOMES A FULL-TIME ACTIVIST, then we will respect her. Sooo true…..just wanna share, but when i got home last nite, i was soo tired and sleepy, and i had the tv on E! and watching what’s left of the 10pm central E! news blah blah…anyhoo, before i fell asleep with the tv on, CHELSEA LATELY has a skit on the much-talked about pre-Oscars party that never happened. The skit showed what would have happened is they met…it was featuring actresses playing Angie and Vaughn’s ex. I wonder if anyone has seen it? LOL….
Chelsea also was shouting praises and bitching at how could Angelina be even more stunningly beautiful pregnant….and she said that while some preggers were like, “umm, honey, can u get me a glass of milk coz u know i’m pregnant….there’s pregnant Angelina going to Iraq.”
Energy, No one herer speaks for all people who have lost military members in the war. AS someone who is in the military community ( served in the Navy, married to Navy man(now retired) and father, uncles, etc. ) I have seen people who have lost someone in combat. I have known people who have. I have spoken to people who have been injured. Yes some parents and other family members now do not support the war . A few have become as extreme as Cindy Sheehan Most support the members of the military and support their family members decision to be in the military and ven re-enlist. Some do support the war. . They believe the US needs to stay in Iraq until Iraq is stable .
I have spoken to some military members at Bamc who have lost a limb who want to be able to return to Iraq to fiish their job and help the Iraqi’s. This whole situation is complicated and people are very opinioned on both sides. With all the yuckiness and lack of profesionalism in jounalism today, it is refreshing to read a well thought out , levelheaded, anf realistic comments about the situation over there. Angelina’s oped really achieves something that the journalistic community should stive to attain esp now since most places now seem to be more concerned with sensationalism, hatred and gossip.

Why should you stay? Because you cause the problem? The United Stades invaded Iraq, killed and displaced innocent civilian iraqis, destroyed the country, disturbed the region… the last you can do is try to help some of those people.
