OlderRush Limbaugh Praises Angelina Jolie
Republican bullhorn Rush Limbaugh praised Angelina Jolie yesterday on his radio show, saying she makes more sense than the Democrats when it comes down to the issue of Iraq.
Here’s what Rush, 57, had to say about Angie:
“Everybody today is raving about a piece in the Washington Post by Angelina Jolie in which she just got back from Iraq. She says, ‘We have finally reached a point where humanitarian assistance, from us and others, can have an impact.’ Her point is to stay, help the Iraqis, especially those who are out of the country, want to come back home, the time is right now, and that the surge is working. Now, if you read the piece by Angelina Jolie today in the Washington Post, you will conclude that she is deeper and in ways more specific than Obama about this if you read the whole article. She makes more sense than Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama or anybody on the Democrat side about this. It’s stunning. I’ve had some people, ‘Rush, you realize, she didn’t write it.’ I don’t know that she didn’t write it. I’m not going to assume she didn’t write it… That’s another thing, that’s a good point, too, it’s pretty brave of her to do this, given Hollywood and so forth. But she’s big enough to withstand it, and it sort of makes me appreciate this Brad Pitt guy a little more. He’s gone after substance here, is all I’m saying. This really is a good piece.”

Brad and Angie has been criticized for having a People Mag press relase of their donations, which I think they did so because the money came from the Shiloh Pics.
Now here comes Ms Drew B, a press release is not enough for her but she has to announce her donation in Oprah show and so tacky posing with that big check so that anyone and everyone can see it and will know about it. b>Now I dont see people criticizing her?? What double standard again?

It’s interesting that this will be the first time in years that the two will have important projects going on at the same time. There are so many variable like the SAG strike, a newborn, children’s schooling, etc.. to consider. I think this film will be delayed just a bit. I was suprised to read Russell Crowe’s name in there. I think it’s all preliminary. Clive owen may be good and even Daniel Day Lewis.

I just keep remembering the firmness in Brad’s voice when he spoke of their LAW to LarryK, that when one is working, the other one takes care of the kids. I just don’t see them both working on major projects at the same time while they have a newborn infant and 4 other small kids. Mad (7) and Pax’s(5) schooling will have to be considered and available housing adequate for a very large family. There are just so many factors to consider.
Angelina left herself some leverage by just signing a letter of intent as this point. Also Plan B is a co-producer on AS. So I am sure they will all work out what they need to do.
There will most likely be some slippage on the time of the AS filming into 2009, especially if SAG strikes.
frenchy-this will be interesting,I mean it will be an interesting test for them,since I have read new article from Angie in Oprah’s magazine where she is supposed to talk about books she likes and she told there that she is going to do movie with the AS’s book.and If this man will turn out to be right and they will start filming in late 2008 or early 2009,it means the exact time Brad is doing Fighter in Boston.It will be interesting to know,how they will handle it!!since Brad has already signed for Fighter and AS is the movie which Angie loves to play in it.Brad told there is a law for it in their home but he wasn’t aware of this at that time,so now we should sit and look what will they do at this time.what do you think?will this make them to break their law.will Brad go to Boston alone while Angie will do movie probably in L.A?I think this is a challenge which can show many people about them and how strong they are for their family.and it can show how much they are serious in keeping family togethger.peace

In 1992, Aglialoro paid $1 million for the film rights to make an Atlas Shrugged movie. Today he is an executive producer of the forthcoming production, in association with Lionsgate Entertainment.
Susan Paris: Is Angelina Jolie firmly committed to the project?
John Aglialoro: Yes, she is. Here is what she told us: “Dagny Taggart is the most relatable character to me of all the extensive literature I have ever read.”

One thing for sure for this family is they are always together. They will work out their schedules to keep the family together. I can’t see Angie start to work after just having a newborn baby. That’s not Angie at all. I think AS will start filming early 2009.

you know,I guess they will be apart from each other for just filming and will meet each other during weekend and vacation and thanksgiving.like the time Brad was doing JJ and Angie was busy with TGS.
because I have read alot of articles which shows Atlas Shrugged peeps are too sure about starting the movie in 2008 which will continue until early 2009.so I guess it will make them to be apart from each other for some time.they will have to break their law.but I guess they will manage to do something in order to meet each other more often.

why?she started AMH when Shiloh was three months.three month after her First bio child came to the world.and If they will have their baby in June or July,by Novamber the baby will be more than 4 months.
Angie seems to love this project alot.and she is talking about it and is following it’s changes from start.and even recently told she will do it.I think she will end up doing it.
but the problem is that Brad will have to go to Boston at that time.for me it is not any kind of problem.because they are actors and they should be apart from each other at some points due to their work,but I guess tabs will go crazy IF they will be apart from each other to do their own business.since Atlas Shrugged will start around the same time Fighter is supposed to start.

They will not be separated. Brad will not live apart from his family, especially with a newborn child. No way, this man loves his family too much, remember he reads and talks to them them each nite at bedtime. Their only separation was in 2005 for films they had signed to do before they got together as a family, and then they practically commuted between Canada and NYC for a time. No work separation has occurred since then and will not again.
They will work out their shooting schedules just as they did with back to back schedules with Wanted in Chicago and then immediately on to BAR in NYC, and then immediately on to Changeling in LA. This is how they roll. There is no doubt of that. As they have both said, they keep their brood together. Just as they are all now in Texas for months for Brad’s film.

tita, if the shoot will start early 2009, i think angie will agree to as. it was already mentioned earlier about their agreement that neither of them (brad & angie) should be filming at the same time because of the kids. if they (producers of as) will be willing to wait for angie, which i know they will, then as is a go. i’m not familiar with as but judging from what the fans have been posting on here, it seems a “biggie”.

I just did some research. Angie started AMH on October 2006. Shiloh was born on May 2006. So it is not three months as you said.
Once again Brad Pitt will not live separate from his family. Period, he will not do so. There is no storygate here. Also no one here knows when these movies will be actually filmed, all dates are just conjecture at this time. I read recently that The Fighter may be delayed until 2009 as Mark Walberg is busy. I will try to find that article.
This man, BP, flew from India, 23 hour flight to LA for Babel premiere, then back to India, spendt 2 days flying back and forth, back with his family ASAP.
This man,BP, flew from Prague to Toronto, shot day and half on BB then back to Prague with his family then on to LA in 4 days time.
This man,BP, flew to Chicago wth his family, then back the next day to LA for jury duty, then right back to Chicago that night.
This man will not be separated from his family for a more than a few days at a time.
That’s just the truth.

Milton author pens book about New England boxing fan favorite Micky Ward

MILTON - Bob Halloran of Milton did everything wrong when he decided to write a book about former welterweight boxer Micky Ward.
He chose a subject of little interest to most book publishers. Instead of writing a proposal, he wrote an entire manuscript before pitching the idea. With no agent, he contacted publishers directly and received about twenty rejections.
But Lyons Press saw potential in Halloran’s storytelling style, and the book, “Irish Thunder: The Hard Life and Times of Micky Ward,” was released in November.
“Micky is becoming a celebrity on a national and international level. Lowell is going crazy for the book,” said Halloran, who is weekend sports anchor for WCVB’s Sports Center 5.
There is also a movie set to begin filming next year.
“The Fighter,” by Paramount, starring Mark Wahlberg as Micky Ward and Brad Pitt as his brother, Dickie Ecklund, was in the planning stages two years before Halloran decided to write “Irish Thunder,” but that didn’t stop him from pursuing his project.
