Vanessa Hudgens heads in for a lengthy lip-lock with her co-star Gaelan Connell on the set of her new movie Will in Austin, Texas on Thursday.
Will is about a battle of the bands at a high school with Vanessa playing a girl named Sam.
Gaelan’s character was also seen play-fighting over a book with Vanessa’s. He also ran his fingers through her hair!
Seems like things get pretty romantic for these two on-screen!

I was waiting for a Vanessa thread; nonetheless this is DEFINITELY better than what I anticipated. The kissing scene was funny. I just find it utterly peculiar because people had a hard time obtaining pictures of her on set and then pictures of one of the major scenes come out. I guess that since they shot this scene out in the open, the paparazzi easily took pictures of them.
One more thing, I was expecting Gaelan to look good but like someone said earlier, he really is just average-looking. Based on the pictures, I think he did well in portraying Will.

He reaches over to do the “strand of hair” move. It’s then that the awful truth registers…
WILL (V.O.)
She’s wearing a hat! Think. Think.
In desperation, he simply flicks the baseball cap from her head and onto the ground. She looks up, confused.

He reaches to move a strand of her now exposed hair, but she’s quickly back to reading - terrified and excited that he’s about to touch her. He moves the hair…and his finger gets caught. The hair Pulls.

He puts his left hand on her hair, before removing his right hand. It’s awkward and bizarre. The moment passes, and he starts the caressing portion of his mission. She giggles a little. It tickles.
He perseveres, pressing too hard as he works his way down to her neck, so that her head is forced to angle away from him in a clumsy way. Now comes the big moment. He leans in for the kiss, but…

She wouldn’t put the book down!
Indeed, Sam keeps pretending to read, holding on to the book for dear life. Will tries to lean in and kiss her, but can’t get at her lips. He tries again from another angle.
Again, no dice. He tries to take the book from her hands,
but she’s got it in a death grip. He uses two hands.
It turns into a very contained, but completely white knuckled struggle. He finally manages to yank the book away, nearly falling over from the velocity of his momentum. He sets the book down…leans in…and kisses her. A completely disaster-free kiss.

I remember laughing hysterically while reading that part. I got disappointed with myself when I found out that did not save the script. It was good that I was able to finish it.

I don’t suppose that Zac will think anything about the kiss as it’s in the movie as I dare say Vanessa will not think of any kissing scene’s that Zac will have in his current movie as it’s their job so people need not to worry about it.

Gaelan Connell is her co-star as it says on many websites and do you think she would be kissing someone she was in a relationship with in front of two random men watching them? Directors! The first time I read that scene it had me laughing out loud. Vanessa (or maybe I should say Sam) defintiely looks like she’s holding on to that book for dear life. LOL So it looks like they nailed it. I can’t wait to see how it plays out in the film.

Does anybody think Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have long discussions about kissing other people on screen? Or Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gylenhall? Or any other celebrity couple you can think of?
I don’t think so because its part of the job. It means absolutely NOTHING. There were at least a dozen crew people standing around watching them, and Todd Graff the director was there directing and micromanaging them through the whole process.
I really don’t understand why people are freaked out about this. Vanessa and Gaelan are acting, you know the job they were paid to do?

The thing is both with Zac and Vanessa they will be photograped at certain points kissing other people but it’s part of being a actor/actress and the rumours will always be around that it’s more than it seems, but they have trust in each other nd kow at the end of the day it’s excatly just that part of their job.

Wow, the way some people are reacting you would think that EVERY kissing scene in EVERY movie meant the actors were cheating on their significant others.

****Lisa–you’re making V seem more shallow than she appears by stating there is less chemistry when dating an ugly guy…I would hope that she would look past the surface to find out what is inside someone…isn’t that what the message of this new movie of her’s is??
As for the worries that V & Z are not together any more, would that be such a catastrophe? They are growing up and discovering new adventures, it would only go in with the order of things that they might be taking a break from the Disney togetherness to find out what they want in life. No worries, HSM3 will be gracing your screens soon enough and then the Zanessa gag fest can begin again
