“We Are The Ones” — Another Barack Obama Song

“We Are The Ones” is the follow-up remix video to the Barack Obama “Yes, We Can” Song by Black Eyed Peas’ Will.I.Am.

Celeb cameos are made by actors Jessica Alba, Ryan Phillippe, Kerry Washington, John Leguizamo, Regina King, Tyrese Gibson, Eric Mabius, Tichina Arnold, Adrienne Palicki, comedian George Lopez, and singers Macy Gray, Zoe Kravtiz and Black Eyed Peas’ Tabu. In the video, everybody pretty much chants “O-BAM-A” to the beat. Watch the vid below!

“I would like to see a cleaner Earth for my child that I’m bringing into the world very soon,” Alba, 26, says. “I would like the rest of the world to think highly of our amazing country.”

Adds Phillippe, 33, “I think it’s time for a change. I want a better a future for my children [Ava and Deacon].”

Did I miss former O.C. star Ben McKenzie? He was supposed to be featured in it.

Why the hell is kate del castillo there is she’s going to vote? this video is soo stupid they talk about Obama like he was somene they really know… hope this doesn’t affect the vote of many people, and please choose well cause last time you voted (twice) you &$#%$ up the world guys.

Obama will provide you with a job, education, and health care. We need to get those greedy rich people to pay for us. These stars are willing to pay so let’s help Obama too.

Movie stars are bright lights and so is Obama. We look up to them and Obama does and we need to also.

Obama will make your job easier and you can be hired by anyone.

VOTE FOR OBAMA! Lets so something RIGHT for once!!!

I am concerned that people are following Obama because they think he is cool; he should be judged on the value of his positions and ideals. I am no Clinton supporter: her vote for the war makes it impossible for me to vote for her. Obama opposed the war, but I still wish that he was more to the left. He still is, as Clinton is, cozy with wall street and the business community. Obama’s health care plan, like Clinton’s, is not the medicare for all, universal healthcare that our country needs. He is right that we need radical change; but his intention of working with the right and the republicans is wrong. The change we need will come to be as the result of bitter and long battles; we will be fighting the democratic and republican party. If, when he is elected, he moves his positions farther to the right than they already are, I will be on the front lines with those working to bring the real change this country needs.

“I’m excited for my baby to be brown. I just have to believe the dark gene is going to survive. Cash and I are like, please.”

Did jessica alba really say this? Lmao

that was the stupidest video ever.. obama AND clinton make me sick.

bradangelina #18 poster: the guy at 1:11 is nate parker an up and coming actor who starred in “The Great Debaters.”

everyone has an opinion and is allowed to express it. its they’re right. so why can’t celebrities do the same? under the constitution everyone has that right. the first amendment ring a bell?

the people who come and comment on this video are voicing their opinion on who they support, the same thing the celebrities are doing in this video. so whats the difference? they want their canidate to win, just like you do.

and for the people who say obama doesn’t have enough experience and is all talk, let me remind you that one of the greatest presidents of this country, Lincoln, had little experience. And look what he did.

we need to respect what others think and believe. respect!

I have never contributed to a political campaign but I believe in Obama so much I have contributed twice so far to his campaign. It has nothing to do with celebs endorsing him. I believe he is the ONLY hope our country has of recovering from the damage George Bush has caused us. If Obama, by some chance doesn’t win the election, we are doomed as it will be just more of the same old s**t! America needs Sen. Obama to survive! YES WE CAN!!!!!!!! Obama ‘08

OMG!!!mccain?????you are crazy??hes a murder!!pufff…suck maccain!!!otrer bush!!!…please vote good!!!!

I am not really concerned about his whole Barack Odama thing because I am a Canadian but I think this video was great!!!

I think Obama doesn’t want the Asian vote. The southeast asian vote to be exact. I see one more of this without us…I’m going hillary no matter how I hate the bithc. Surely, I’m not the only one feeling left out.

not brainwashed @ 03/12/2008 at 8:13 pm

question for Ava:

if you’re so INFORMED that you won’t be brainwashed by a bunch of celebrities to vote, why exactly are you still perpetuating the stereotypical myth that was PROVEN WRONG that Obama is muslim?

http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/01/22/obama.madrassa/

Obama is Christian, goes to church, always has, always will and said so directly on national television during the debates.

thankfully we have voters who are actually informed INSTEAD of just getting them information from the other side’s SMEAR MACHINE.

this is sick… it’s worked out to really believe that they believe in what they’re actually sayin… good work… I believe in art I dont believe in they’re words LOL

ONE LOVE OBAMA, THATS WHAT IAM TALKING ABOUT.
LETS MAKE IT HAPPIN.

i find it kind of creepy how its almost like thier worshiping him in a way

It truly saddens me to read such dispariging comments about someone that none us know personally. We can only go by what the man is saying, his record and what ever public records there are about his background. We will never know what’s the “truth” when it comes to ANY political candidate because they all have spin artists, writers and PR people working for them to place them in the best possible light. That’s politics!!!

My question to you all is- for all of the negatives that you’re expressing about Obama, where is your advocacy for McCain. I respect the way all of you feel but where is your evidence that the other candidate is such a better choice?

We are in the most desparate times imaginable and who put us there? Do we really want to risk 4 or possible 8 more years of that??? It is time for something different to happen and if you all feel like Mccain is the one to make the right changes and choices, then tell us why instead of saying disgusting and meaningless things about Obama and the people who support him.

Celebrities are people too. Their votes will count. They do not consider thier beliefs to be a fade or fasion statement (what’s hot) but rather their OPINION. So so what!!!!! Only an idiot would vote one way because their favorite celebrity supports that person.

In the end, it is important that everyone makes their own personal decision. An EDUCATED and INFORMED decision that they can live with and support.

I don’t think that either one is going to do that great a job because BUSH Jr. has left this country in an awesome mess that’s going to be pretty challenging to clean up. I will vote for the one that I think has the best intersest of all people in mind and will try his very hardest.

I pray every American will do the same…….

I’m personally offended that Ava, shell and the other McCainiacs don’t give ME credit for being able to think for myself. One of my MAJOR reasons for backing Obama is because I’m tired of my tax payer dollars going to kill innocent people—over 1 MILLION CIVILIANS IN IRAQ so far! And John McCain is going around singing songs about killing more. Notice how the entire issue of the Iraq war dropped off the campaign? It’s because Bush signed an agreement to be out by 2011. McCain couldn’t run on that anymore. Palin sure didn’t have trouble declaring war on Iran though, did she? ENOUGH! I’m through trying to wash the blood off my hands from Bush & CO.’s war for profit. 40% of that ten billion dollars a month goes to Blackwater alone.

So get off your Republican high horse and suck it up, because Obama won in a landslide victory. No longer will we have to be afraid of speaking out against injustice. No longer will the Republican war machine tell us who to hate and who to laugh at dying while we drop the bombs—no longer will we be called traitors or UnAmerican because we don’t enjoy or advocate the blood sport of war.

You wonder why all these people were dancing in the street? We’ve lived under tyranny for EIGHT LONG YEARS!!

And now, finally, I can exhale…

To think that a black man could not speak for himself after a Harvard education is silly.
To think that America would follow anyone just because an Actor told them to ia silly.
To think that I would have to have this conversation is silly.
To think that a black man with the inner pride an self confidence is arrogant because he believe the very dreams I teach my children is silly.
If you are not ready for America to change then maybe you need to find another place to live, because change is here!
