Jennifer Lopez Names Twins Max and Emme
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony named their newborn twins Max and Emme. J.Lo’s manager Simon Fields officially confirmed the news to People.
On Feb. 22, the new parents welcomed their daughter first followed by their son.
This news was first reported by Star back in January when J.Lo’s mother, Guadelupe, had bought ID bracelets for the as-yet-unborn tots, bearing the names Max and Emme from a jeweler in Yorktown Heights, NY.
It’s rumored that the twins’ full first names are Maximiano and Emelina.

I can’t believe how many xenophobic comments are in this article. You are totally wrong with the spanish names: It`s Guadalupe (the name of the Virgin Mary in Mexico) and Maximiliano, please use Google before write stupidities.

Maximilliano and Emelina could not be more Spanish. So you are wrong. Max and Emme are nicknames for the kids. And Latinos have the right to name their kids whatever they want just like Gwyneth Paltrow. And actually, these two are very much loved in the Latino community.
Congrats to them! BTW, Marc Anthony’s last name is Muniz - not Nunez.
Who gives a rat’s **** what this drag queen named the kids? I hope she’s not planning on whoring them out to the media like Tom and his robot.

Also Max and Emme are the names of the two brother and sister Hispanic characters on PBS’ kid show “Dragon Tales”.

maybe j.lo’s mom wanted the whole latino name because the names of marc’s kids to her ex wife were english names (christian and ryan). i don’t have anything against j.lo but i think marc’s ex wife is more prettier.

here is what my Latino friends tell me - they have in JLo a Puerto Rican woman from the Bronx who went from Fly Girl dancer to a megastart worth millions. She is the biggest Latina star and certainly the richest in America. She is a mogul. They are proud of that. It says Latinas can do that. Her movies bomb but yet as a businesswoman, her weight is unprecedented in the Latino community and that makes Latinos very happy. How can you measure how much people like or dislike her? The bottom line is she is a symbol of what Latinas can do in a predominantly white industry. She has won many awards and has given to many Latino charities. That is enough for Latinos. Both she and Marc give back and are symbols of Latino success and love. Bottom line.
No one gives a ****. She is not even discussed in the tabs this week. She still looks like ****.
At least she went with normal names unlike some celebrities that give their kids weird names.
pEOPLE shouldn’t make fun of STAR. They get a lot of things right like this. I believe Bradgelina is having twins like they said, by in vitro because Angie was too skinny to get preggo naturally.
I agree that the names sound ‘white’. Yes, the full names are Latin but ‘Max’ and ‘Emme’ sound like little white kids. There’s nothing wrong with saying that, though. I personally can’t stand the name Max. It just sounds stupid and generic as hell. Emme is okay. And this is just a pet peeve of mine but it bugs the **** out of me when people give their kids a name only to shorten it or call them something else. Just name them what you’re going to call them in the first place, Max and Emme. But at the end of the day, those are her kids and she’s given them the names she wants. I bet they’re beautiful babies. Marc may look cracked-out but his other 3 kids are cute.

I Think Emme is a very intresting, unique and beautiful name. Now Max is very orignal but i like it Max and Emme wich is by the way lovely names..
