The only film that she was good in, I mean REALLY good is in the Professional back when she was a kid. She hit her peak then and has gone downhill since. She is not growing as an actress, she has no acting training in Shakespeare or studied acting in London (hell, Carrie Fisher is a better actress than her). AND SHE CAN’T DO THE BRITISH ACCENT !!!!! She should just not talk and shut up her mouth and model in front of you instead. Now she is Directing…haha like Sophia Copolla’s motto “If you can’t act, then direct”.

Natalie Portman is overrated because of the ability to strip naked? While that makes very little sense, let me just point out that Natalie Portman had been a critically acclaimed, award winning actress for more than ten years before she started doing more adult roles. So suck it.

That’s a matter of opinion. Most professional film critics and most of Hollywood would seem to disagree with you.

I would say she’s grown greatly as an actress, especially over the past few years as she’s taken on more varied roles. Secondly, the majority of actors, even British actors, have no theater training, nor did they train in London. And what has that to do with anything, anyway?

The moment you suggested that an actor can only be skilled is if they train in London, you lost any and all credibility as a “smart and educated [person] who know[s] film history and great acting”.
