So whale hunting is wrong but leather is fine? I’m not an animal rights activist or anti what they do so I really don’t care. But this whole selling leather but causing a riot over whales seems to be a contradiction. Is it the size that makes one killing ok and one not ok?

#5- One difference is that whales are endangered. These could be made from animals that have died on their own or of natural causes you don’t have to slaughter the animal.

I still don’t think there is much difference. Humans get to choose which animal is fit to be killed and which isn’t. That’s not really a good argument and animals used for leather do not die from natural causes. Like I said I have no problem with this but it’s not an easy argument to make while you’re out there fighting for whales.
