Zac Efron: Me & the Orson Welles Director

Zac Efron takes a moment out of his busy filming schedule to pose with director Richard Linklater while promoting their new film Me & Orson Welles.

The director-actor pair spent most of their time shooting at the Gaiety Theatre. Me & Orson Welles is set in 1937 and is about an Orson Welles production of Julius Caesar staged at New York’s famous Mercury Theatre.

A solo Zac was also seen dining by himself after a week of filming on the tiny Isle of Man.

Actually, I was thinking how wonderful it was that he’s a confident enough person to go out to a restaurant alone and eat.

Being alone doesn’t mean you are lonely. And people who fear being alone usually don’t like themselves.

I think Zac has enough self-esteem to get through a few dinners alone.

Or Craig!!! hahaha Just glad he could get out and enjoy himself for a bit, can’t imagine sitting in the hotel all night!!! Love how he is carrying his phone in his hand and not in his pocket. Wonder if he was waiting for a girl to call who happens to be in Texas. What you think?!?!?

Hmmmm I would have to agree…he is afterall only 6 hours ahead of her time, sooooo they could be chatting over dinner ( for him ) and lunch ( for her)

And he’s wearing one of his cool plaid shirts. Looks like his hair is still long in front–in the pics where he’s wearing the hat. It looks similar to the way it was for HS except not as dark. So, we’ll probably get to see his face in HSM3, you think??

Yeah Malia, I think his hair will be similar to HSM2. It’s deceiveing now because he is slicking it back for this movie.

Hi JB, Dalia, and Malia,

From what the producer said in the interview that much of the time Zac is starting work at 6:30 and working until 7 or 8 probably means he has very little time to sit around the hotel room. He probably enjoys just going to chill out and unwind a little while he eats his dinner. He probably finds it relaxing to be by himself and that way if he should be making a phone call which is private, he won’t be interrupted. I’m sure once he gets back to that room he gets ready for bed since he has to get up so early. And as the producer said he is very focused at getting this movie done so he needs a lot of rest.
