Rachel McAdams Gets Used to Married Life
Rachel McAdams goes glam with a slicked back ‘do and bun at the premiere of her latest movie Married Life at NYC’s Tribeca Cinemas on Wednesday.
Director Ira Sachs has said of Married Life: “It’s the story of a middle-aged man who is married, and who falls in love with another woman, but he’s such a gentle figure, so he decides that to divorce his wife would humiliate her too much, so it’s better to kill her.”
Married Life opens in limited release this Friday, March 7.

i’ve always found her very stunning. A rather wide forehead region, but still quite stunning. i really like that she is so non hollyhell, and so down to earth. I especially respected her when she decided AGAINST doing the nude Vanity Fair cover with Keira & Scarlett. TEAM RACHEL!!

It’s so refreshing to see someone like her. Someone who comes out to a premiere/screening and leads a private life afterwards. I think that’s why she’s so popular, because she is very private and everytime she comes out, everyone loves to see her.

Sort of overrated when it comes to acting, but she’s so pretty. However, here she’s like Melissa George’s less pretty sister. She should loosen up her hair.
Also, I’m happy she and Gosling broke up. He’s so talented - and while I don’t dig her acting I think she has potential - that their relationship was drawing more attention than his performances.
Thank god she dumped the pink streaks. They were too Avril Lavigne for me - I could hardly stand to look at her.

got the Kate Bosworth big forehead, she got bad legs and just a clone of Melissa George. Quite frankly she looks bad.
“McCutie”, as her fans sickeningly like to call her, looks like crap here. The hair is too tigh, the makeup is overdone. The dress is unoffensive enough, but too bland; so when paired with the ugly black heels and hair? It’s all so severe. (It’s weird that such a tall girl looks like she has stumpy legs. The heels, maybe?)
Married Life sounds like her kind of project: supporting role (where she works best), not the center of attention. The project doesn’t sound too challenging, a good thing as this one tends to overact when things get too dramatic.
I disagree with the sentiment that she could rule Hollywood: all of her fiilms have been high profile and financially successful, yet the films she’s suggested for/was originally cast in? Fantastic Four, The Last Kiss, not to mention her roles in The Family Stone (as offensive a film for liberals as any I’ve seen in a few years), The Notebook (14 yr old girls will disagree but this film was an overwrought mess), Red Eye? All crap, B level films. There’s just something very Girl Next Door In A Pretty But Ultimately Ordinary kind of way- like Doris Day but without the skill.
While she’s certainly a very pretty woman, there’s something too Ant Eater about her nose in profile photos. A little too Who for me; I always end up staring at it.
She’s awfully cute without this hair-do…..it’s too severe…..too tightly pulled back…..and that dress is too short for someone with fat legs….needs to lose a few pounds on those……

I think Rachel McAdams is realy pretty!!!! I LOVE her hair and makeup!!! but 1 thing i hate is that Ryan and her broke up i thought they were the cuttest couple!!!! (did they really break up?)!!!!!
