Tom & Katie Double Date with the Whitakers
Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes go on another double date at master chef Wolfgang Puck’s steakhouse in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.
This time, Tom, 45, and Katie, 29, dined with Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker, 46, and his wife Keisha, 35.
Just last week, TomKat went on a double date with Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett.

I live in the land of “gentlemen” and manners and I have yet to see a gentleman clutch the back of a lady’s hand and wrist so hard. It wouldn’t happen. It’s weird that after all the negative comments, suddenly a slew of positive ones came in all at once, all saying the same thing - cue the twilight zone music!
Seriously, she looks awful. From a fashion standpoint her boobs are sagging down to the fugly ruffle on her dress, the necklaces are all wrong, the shoes… oh gosh, the shoes. I know Gladiator sandals are in, but some people simply can’t wear certain fashions and Katie cannot wear this one.
From a health standpoint she looks drawn and gaunt and it’s heartbreaking, honestly. She has a child who loves and depends on her! I know it’s funny to joke about Tom and the way she’s had the life sucked out of her since being with him, but I feel awful when I think of their child together - she’s so innocent. Katie looks so sick - if a friend looked like that I’d be concerned.
I don’t think Tom is abusing her in this picture, but I think he automatically grabs her hand in that way without thinking and she automatically accepts this from him because that’s their routine. Which is disturbing in and of itself. I don’t know what’s more disturbing, though - that he clutches her that way because he’s rude and yanks her around without thinking, or because she’s so ill she needs to be held securely so she doesn’t fall over.

He would put his hand out and I would place mine palm to palm in his and He would lead, stepping aside to help me sit, get into the car…get up (when I was pregnant). I can honestly say he never held my hand/ arm the way Tom is gripping onto Katies. I’d probably crack him up side his head if he did. Maybe Tom is trying to be a “gentleman” in his own way but it comes off as if he’s dragging her around.
And there is a big difference between holding hands and being dragged to your seat or car.

It’s quite a jump to conclude that everyone here believes in the “glass is half empty” because they don’t agree with you. Truth is, Tom Cruise has always paraded his women around like they were on display and these pictures don’t show anything different. You say that he “let go of her hand and placed his other hand underneath” - where do you see that happening, exactly? He wasn’t holding her hand when they came out of the restaurant as you can see in the earlier picture and he clearly has a GRIP on her hand in the picture people are discussing. There is no gentle laying of her hand on his, he is GRIPPING her.
I can’t believe I’m posting again, but I have to say that prior to her being with Tom Cruise, I never thought of her as frail or fragile and since they got together, she HAS changed. It’s very sad that your most important relationship is one that, even if only for appearance sake, has you looking or acting completely different than you did when you entered it. You should NEVER lose yourself because of the person you’re with. That is a sure sign of a controlling relationship. I am not saying abusive, but controlling. Everyone that has ever worked with him, been around him or interviewed him always talks about how respectful and gracious he is. You honestly think he would be abusive to the mother of this child. Is he crushing her hand with a jujitsu hold? Is he just being a gentleman and letting her lead? Hard to tell from one picture, but if you look at pictures of them together from the last three years, you start to see a pattern. He holds on to her like he fears she might run away. In some pics, it’s hard to imagine how she can come away from a grip like that without fingermark bruises.
You people defending how he’s holding her *hand*, should focus instead on Katie’s *eyes*. Those are the DEADEST, GLASSIEST eyes I’ve ever seen!

Every one of those site and pictures ascertain my point!!! He does this “grip” out of compassion and protection. Not to be malicious or harsh.
Protection from what? What protection exactly would be needed walking on a red carpet? Or walking out of a restaurant? Don’t they have bodyguards for that? Compassion? Strange word to use. Whatever his reasons may be, most people find “the grip” to be odd and a bit disconcerting. Is she such a frail, weak, afraid or timid person that she would require his “protection” or “compassion”? How sad.
“Compassion”? For what? Is she disabled or something? I’ve been married for nearly 13 years, and my husband sometimes puts a gentle, protective and guiding arm around my waist. My sister and brother-in-law have only been married for 9 months, and I’ve seen him do the same thing with her. But neither of them put a white-knuckle hold on us the way Tom does to Katie!

The sandals are cute, but what matters is the fact that she always look miserably unhappy. In each and every photo that is published lately she looks depressed, sad, subdued, and physically unwell. She is VERY thin and pale, and doesn’t seem well at all.
I believe that Tom Cruise and the dangerous mind-altering cult she belongs to are entirely responsible for her unhappiness and physical condition.
I think she realizes that Tom does not love her, that he has never loved her, and that he married her for PR reasons only. This must be crushing to live with. Tell me all of you who see it as compassionate and friendly gripping - where are all the pics of other men gripping the back of their wives’ hands and arms in such a way? Surely if it were a completely normal, friendly gesture it would appear in any number of pictures of couples coming out of restaurants together. Or is TC the only man in history to give a friendly hand to his wife, and this is why the pictures strike us as so strange?
When someone’s knuckles are white in that position, they are exerting pressure. A hand being held out to steady someone on the stairs - someone who is not actively falling and needing to be gripped and steadied - will not cut off blood flow. If that’s “compassion” in Tom Cruise-land, he’s more of a freak than they commonly report.

There’s a way to get closer to Tom And Katie and maybe even end up living with them in their mansion, in a cute little attic bedroom used by domestic staff…. Get into scientology !! Go to a scientology center and start auditing and keep on with scientologists. If you don’t have any money to pay, maybe you can start by doing some cleaning task to begin with your payments. They always need domestic staff.
Later, in a few months or a few years, if you really are a TomKat fan and you have God on your side, maybe you could be hired as a housemaid or as domestic employee and live with TOMKAT in their BeverlyHills mansion. A dream life for a true fan of them which is now unsatisfied with his/her life. But you’ll have to be a scientologist.
Maybe your daily life would then be to bring coffee to adorable Katie in her bedroom, lay off her clothes on the bed and prepare her bath, help her to dress, etc. You could be really close to her and so experienced happiness and love as you would never even would have dream. Be close to Katie on a daily basis.
But in order so, you would have to be courageous and strong and IN scientology. Maybe you will have to fight for you dream with some relatives but if you want to meet Tomkat, it can happen if you are a good scientologist, and of course also if you live in LA..
Scientology could be a way to get closer to Katie. It can bring you love and happiness. Go to a center next to where you live and try it.
