Tom & Katie Double Date with the Whitakers

I live in the land of “gentlemen” and manners and I have yet to see a gentleman clutch the back of a lady’s hand and wrist so hard. It wouldn’t happen. It’s weird that after all the negative comments, suddenly a slew of positive ones came in all at once, all saying the same thing - cue the twilight zone music!

Seriously, she looks awful. From a fashion standpoint her boobs are sagging down to the fugly ruffle on her dress, the necklaces are all wrong, the shoes… oh gosh, the shoes. I know Gladiator sandals are in, but some people simply can’t wear certain fashions and Katie cannot wear this one.

From a health standpoint she looks drawn and gaunt and it’s heartbreaking, honestly. She has a child who loves and depends on her! I know it’s funny to joke about Tom and the way she’s had the life sucked out of her since being with him, but I feel awful when I think of their child together - she’s so innocent. Katie looks so sick - if a friend looked like that I’d be concerned.

I don’t think Tom is abusing her in this picture, but I think he automatically grabs her hand in that way without thinking and she automatically accepts this from him because that’s their routine. Which is disturbing in and of itself. I don’t know what’s more disturbing, though - that he clutches her that way because he’s rude and yanks her around without thinking, or because she’s so ill she needs to be held securely so she doesn’t fall over.

You use to so young ~ You use to be so adorable ~ You use to look so healthy ~ You use to have your regular nose ~ But in a flash ~ You got that new nose ~ You turned all pale and scrawny ~ You let someone put a bowl on your head and cut off your hair~ You started wearing clothes that make you look like a senior citizen ~ You started talking like you had a lobotomy ~ Is it intentional? ~ What’s zapped the life out of you?

Tom looks like he is POSSESSED. No joking….I’m serious. This relationship is starting to resemble a horror movie.

Lay off with the wrist control comments. Tom’s people do not feel it would be appropriate for Katie to wear her leash and restraints in public. That’s not Tom’s fault. LEAVE TOM ALONE!

It seems that in almost every photo of Katie Holmes she has a very creepy glazed-over look in her eyes. Looks like she has completely gone into full-on Stepford wife mode. What on earth is happening to this woman?

She has that deer in the headlights look. She does look pregnant to me, too, and quite sickly - like maybe she has morning sickness or something. Quite frankly, I do not think she had a clue what she was getting into when she married Tom. She is living in a cult lifestyle and having to raise her little baby as such. I do not recall Nicole having to go through this when she was married to Tom — they had their own life and didn’t have all his relatives living with them, Scientology handlers, etc. We all need to PRAY for her for God to get her out of this sick marriage and back to her grounded, healthy Ohio roots - and faith!!!! I feel really sorry for her … she is trapped in something way over her young head.

Why can’t the Whitakers hang out with Johnny and Vanessa like they did at the Oscars? They’d be MUCH more fun to hang out with!

I can’t believe I’m posting again, but I have to say that prior to her being with Tom Cruise, I never thought of her as frail or fragile and since they got together, she HAS changed. It’s very sad that your most important relationship is one that, even if only for appearance sake, has you looking or acting completely different than you did when you entered it. You should NEVER lose yourself because of the person you’re with. That is a sure sign of a controlling relationship. I am not saying abusive, but controlling. I think we can all agree that TC is most likely a control freak, right?

So instead of Tom “paraded his women” around he should keep them locked in the house??? I don’t exactly see how any of this makes any sense. You don’t know him at all yet you make all of these insulting comments about him? He’s “abusive or controlling”. WHATEVER!!!!! I see it as protective and shielding to guard her from all of the hounds waiting to take a picture.
