Yes, I listened to that podcast. He said that he was hesitant to approach Vanessa and SHE came up to him and introduced herself. He said she was really nice and very pretty. He was trying to figure out where she was sitting at lunch so he could sit with her. :)

At the end, he says they (Soctt Porter, Aly and Vanessa) were all nice, “Especially Vanessa.”

Troy, you are a very perceptive and wise individual. Seem much older and more mature then most.

I honestly do not care one way or the other what this chick does. Just another cute starlet with a tad bit of talent. Only time will tell if it is enough to sustain a career for her once she and her dreamboat bf part ways.

When you’re so young and everything comes at you at once it’s very difficult to stay grounded. You are right about one thing….I am not really stupid.

I meant to add on my last comment that the article which was posted by suzy was also interesting in the fact that it said the movie would be filming for at least another WEEK so it may be such a thing that Vanessa’s part int he movie will be done by next week—probably by Easter weekend.

Glad to hear Vanessa is really liking her time in Austin.It is a great city and best of all she is almost free from the paps there. A few pics here and there is all. She looks really cute in the pics and the radio DJ seemed to really like her. She is proving once again, how sweet she is.

chickie, you are so right about troy; he IS very perceptive and wise, and has an extremely dry sense of humor! I often read his posts twice, because I sometimes miss it!!

Good work, Karen, calling out Helena. I have also seen her on all the threads, and she is one critical chick. She can’t find anything nice to say about ANYONE.

troy, erica, and suzy…..I also thought the description of Vanessa as “shyly friendly” was perfect. You can be friendly, without being all gushy and saying too much to people you don’t know. Vanessa is right to be guarded with strangers, even if they’re fans. But you’re right that may be why some think she’s “stuck-up.” I have a friend just like that, who is the sweetest person on the face of the earth, but she’s shy and guarded, and people think she’s a snob. A good reason not to judge people if you don’t really know them!!!

I think we should all e-mail cosmo girl and demand they apologise to vanessa - it’s not fair that they published lies about her and then just pretended it didn’t happen when the damage has been done.

I sent them an e-mail yesterday, here’s what I wrote.

Dear Ms. Shultz,

I am deeply saddened and shocked at the news you printed on cosmogirl.com on 4th March in your Daily Gossip Roundup Coloumn. Your website published an allegation that Vanessa Hudgens of high school musical fame had been caught drinking in Hollywood and had later been arrested for underage drinking. The article went on adding that vanessa’s own mother was now labelling her daughter as “stupid”.

I have always had great respect for the Cosmogirl brand and had faith and trust in its publications to deliver factual, honest and concise content, however cosmogirls’s recent publishing of this “gossip” and its subsequent way of dealing with the realisation that this information was deeply misinformed has upset and angered me.

I’m sure I don’t need to go into detail about just how completely false this article was as I’m certain you already realise your mistake since the article is no longer available. However I will make reference to another article, printed in light of your own, which highlights the facts - Vanessa was in Texas at the time of the alleged arrest (there is photographic evidence) and the source which you referenced had in fact referenced someone else, who referenced….no one! I completely agree with this article’s writer, Rachel Baumbach, in saying that this error was “the height of irresponsible journalism”. Before today, this is something I would not have expected from cosmogirl.

The fact that the article has now disappeared with no explanation proves to me that cosmogirl is dishonest and disrespectful. I don’t think this is a good example to your many readers, including myself. Your company has made a gross error of judgement in running this story and as a result has tarnished the image of an otherwise law abiding citizen. I do not believe that this is something you can ’sweep under the rug’ so to speak. If your company would like to win back the respect of its readers who read this misinformed article I would suggest that your publication publish a public apology to Ms. Hudgens on the same webpage the article appeared on.

I would appreciate if you would respond to this e-mail with your thoughts on this matter.
