OlderKelly Rowland Admits to Breast Implants
Kelly Rowland tells People in its March 17 issue that she had breast implants last October, bringing her “from an A-cup to a B-cup.”
Rowland admits, “I didn’t want to have double Ds and be a little bitty size 2 — that would look nuts!”
The 27-year-old singer former Destiny’s Child member did it for fashion’s sake.
“I was sick of not fitting into my tops,” she says. “There was this one really hot House of Dereon top (designed by Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles) that I just wanted to fill that out! [After the surgery,] I put it on and I looked so good! I’m so happy. I feel complete.”
But Kelly has some wise, wise words for anyone thinking about getting plastic surgery: “It is a decision I made for myself. I like it, and that’s all that counts. For young people: Think about it before you just jump off and do something (you may regret later).”
Kelly’s power of prayer certainly helped her in the breast of times.

some people on here a just so empty headed… Youve said at least twice now how it want about beyonce’s top in particular that she was just using that as an example but some people still havent picked up on that fact .
and big deal she got a boob job, for some reason it always seems to be the people who criticise smaller cups sizes that then turn around and criticise those to do get surgery to make them bigger : /
but yeah theres no way there a b cup!
& theres plenty of people who get bob jobs nowadays just becasue shes a celebrity and in the public eye doesnt mean
..that shes any different to the rest of us who have worried or are self conscious about parts of our bodies.

Not a B cup for sure. Good for her. She’s happy and she admits to it rather than lying she woke up and it grew over night. I do know one girl who said when she reached 23 her boobs just started to grow from a B to a C cup. Now, that’s annoying.
Whatever makes you feel good about yourself, none of anyone else’s business.
If you were seeing her for the first time you wouldn’t know ther were fake, because they don’t look like two grapefruits stuck on to her chest, with obvious ridges and outlines. They actually hang a little . That said, she stills looks kinda slim for such boobs.

Her chest, her choice. Personally, I think if it makes her feel good and she’s happy with it, then why not? It’s not hurting anyone.
That being said, her “girls” look good. They don’t even look fake.
Kelly could have A, B, C’s or D’s and she’s still hot. Do you Kellz.
Breast implants are so 90s. And anyway, real stars do not have big huge boobs unless they were born with ‘em. What the H***, I never heard of this chick anyway before she announced her implants.
Sometimes your breast can be too big. There are some itty bitty tops that I would like to get into and I can’t because I would be overexposed. So it goes both ways….

janice you are right, beyonce needs to fess up, she too has breast implants. and the real reason why kelly and other women get breast implants is because they are insecure, it’s not all about fashion.
she feels complete now…. she must have some real issues if breasts were keeping her from feeling complete.
I am glad she was honest (though it would be hard to lie about it) but her reasons seem a bit false to me. Still, it is her life. She is the one who has to live with her decisions not us.
Beyonce had a boob job too, not just Kelly but when is she going to announce that? the only thing is that Kelly’s own is bigger implants and she’s skinny so it makes it noticeable. Beyonce is way bigger than Kelly and with her somewhat big ass, it balances her out with her implants. I am still waiting for her to annouce hers. Indepent and strong destiny child, really? who knew they all had low self esteem just like everyone else.
what bothers me is the waste of it all. the money, and the resources that women in the “developed” nations choose to put into plastic surgery and anti-aging stuff is pretty gross when you think about how many people go to bed literally starving every night; and how many people die every day due to lack of access to basic medical supplies.

remember da truth, who do you think all the haute couture designers are making THEIR tops for? take a look at any catwalk and you’ll be surprised at how few (read: zero) girls are walking down the runway with anything more than a small B-cup. Any designer worth wearing will tell you that clothes hang best on small-chested frames, which is why the breast measurements on their models are always minimal.
to say that clothes don’t “look right” on flat-chested women is 1) insulting to women with small breasts, 2) a matter of taste (yours) 3) proof of your ignorance of tailoring.
that said, I couldn’t care less if Ms. Rowland decides to put plastic on her chest — it’s entirely her choice. but to claim that clothes (especially those as notoriously tacky as the Knowles’ line) don’t look good on her small breasts is ridiculous. It’s sad that she couldn’t accept her body as is, but it’s her body and she can abuse it as she pleases.

Everyone has the free will to modify their body in the way that it is pleasing. It is very unfortunate though that we do not accept ourselves in the way in which we are created.
It is often said that women modify their body parts to improve their self recognition but they dont realise what needs change is not the exterior but rather the interior of one self. The real reasons these women change themselves has more to do with how they are being women merely perceived in the media and the opposite sex.
These women are contradicting themselves, first they speak about women empowerment which is about the female’s mind and not body and then they are portRaying themselves as sex kitten subservient to the male’s gaze. What is even more unfortunate is that we females look to these women who are battling with their own issues as Role Models when they simply are NOT!!
As much as Kelly Rowland wants to front… she did feel ways about her body. There is no way that you would go to a consultation, book appointments, see breast augmentation doctor’s, get knocked out, get cut, get jel sockets placed inside your body, JUST FOR THE SAKE OF CLOTHES & FASHION…….. HELL NO!!!! Kelly I’m sorry girl, I do admire you for coming out with it and keeping it real for the public about getting them…but you’re not keeping it real about why you got them. Living the “Hollywood Life” you’re going to start to want the breasts if all your ‘celeb friends’ have it…. I’m sorry, but that’s the truth.
I’m a petite girl myself, only 5′2 1/2, cup size boarder line A/B. I have been contemplating for a year about getting breast implants and I have made up my mind to do so as well, and straight up IT IS FOR ME and not for NO MAN, but it is for the fact that I do feel less of a woman for not having a bit bigger in my top portion. I don’t doubt my looks at all, in fact I know I’m really pretty….. I get enough attention, but it really isn’t about that. It is about how I feel about me, and at the end of the day I feel that I would feel better about myself with breast implants. So ENOUGH RESPECT to Kelly for doing it and being honest about it, but I know that deep down she was feeling low about her cup size as well….. it definitely had nothing to do with fashion.
PS - I agree with one of the other comments, it’s time that Beyonce stepped up to the plate and admitted she got breast implants too. Take after your girl Kelly and be honest with your fans.

i don’t blame her for getting a boob job because she was tired of fitting in to certian tops…i’m 5′1″ and 125-130 lbs and i’m only a 32A…i’m built slender but with a larger bone mass and i’m curvy from the hips below…whenever i wear certian dresses it will fit perfectly at the bottom but feels loose and baggy at the top..it’s quite annoying that when i wear low cut tops and certian halters or spegetti straps without looking down at myself and literally feel like i’m a junior high school ***** because of the way certian tops pop out and i look underdevoloped being only 5′1″ on top of it…
good for her for getting a boob job for the right reasons she knows exactly what she was doing and she looked it through and thought about it over and over and figured out what was right for her and honestly i’ve actually thought about getting a boob job myself because i have the same problem as her
