Totally agree with Monaghan’s comments. I’ve known U.S. families where the children have been living in a different country for a good portion of their youth, i.e toddler to teens and they are the most well developed individuals and nice people too. The specific families I refer to are international UN workers…I was told by an employee of the UN World Food Bank that the UN has a mandatory policy of moving their higher management and overseers every three to four years).
These youths whom I have directly talked to and observed have experienced and intermingled with children of those cultures and other cultures also living in similar situations display great social skills and do what normal children do only in a foreign country. As a side note, these youths are more knowledgeable about foreign affairs, international politics, geography, different cultural nuances and customs, religions and global living conditions than the average American ADULT. They are also more atuned to tolerance, compatible living and sharing with those of a different ethnic and cultural background than the average youth/adult.

Posters should not criticize when they themselves have no knowledge or experience…my advice: stop living in your seemingly safe, provincial world and get out there and then you can speak from a credible viewpoint and your opinions might become more respected.
Apologies if my posts are gratuitous but better than a full tirade…this was a “baby” rant. LOL

Hello…quite simply YES…there is no indication I have double standards…my understanding comes from my own experience on both sides of the coin…groundcontrol wondered why he had to cheat…I was attempting to explain by answering this…adultery isn’t impossible on either side in ANY marriage…we humans are fallible and temptible is what I understand, okay?

Hey, I’m also an AJ- fan BUT can’t say I’m as obsessive as some of ya’ll on her threads. I just read another thread about what her brother recently said about how Angie doesn’t want to hurt any woman’s feelings such as ex-girlfriends or ex-wifes and I can’t help to ask the obsessive ones (just to see if they can be somewhat objective): Did you know that Angie engaged in a relationship with Billy Bob when he was engaged to Laura Dern? What’ syour outtake on that? Yes I know it’s ooooold news and yes I know that the man did wrong but it would be interesting to hear your point of view considering you make her look like she’s a flawless human being. If you believe that Angie didn’t consider that B.B was engaged, would you also not believe the rumour that she had an affair with Brad when he was married or did she “change”?

A few days ago aol had a list of 25 HW hookups. The comment that went along with angie and bbt`s pic was nasty (aol is team aniston). The writer commented on how angie and bbt had an on set affair, secretly ran off and got married and left dern with a broken heart. Of course they had to mention the vials of blood. I thought it was a little strange how aol did that peace and then question mark person comes along with their comment. ? wants to ask ” What’ syour outtake on that? It sounds to me like their is something brewing here.

OMG, Yes… FOUR sisters? Wow! A certain time every month must’ve been something for your father! LOL

I was just on pittwatch.com and someone posted a remark that Bill O’reilly will feature a story on whether or not Angie should have so many kids. Do anyone know about that? I hope not. FOX news already is a biased piece of litigation but I just wish peope would leave Brad and Angie alone. Why don’t they ridicule every womb in the world if that’s the case? I watched Showbiz tonight last night and they had a panel on Lisa Marie Presley’s lawsuit against the tab for their story ran about her weight and one of the guests stated that pregnancy is personal and that it wasn’t any of our business. I thought to myself that the same that goes for LMP should go for the JP’s. They are better than me because their tolerance level is beyond my understanding. I will continue to pray for the Jolie-Pitts. Ignorance is bliss for some but Stupidity seems to have reached a new level of acceptability in society.
