Hayden Panettiere tells the April 2008 issue of Cosmopolitan that she won’t succumb to peer pressure and fall prey to drugs and alcohol.
“I think that people look at me as just another one of those girls who’s going to screw up, like ‘She’s going to get into drugs, and she’s going to get into the parties,’ ” the 18-year-old Heroes hottie says. “I have the occasional glass of champagne when I’m celebrating something, but generally, I don’t drink. I’m a pizza-and-a-movie girl.”
On accepting her body type: “I don’t have a model’s body. But I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m okay with what I have. I can rock this body, you know?”
On staying quiet about her boyfriend, Heroes costar Milo Ventimiglia: “I need somebody who is very secure. In this business, I’m constantly standing next to gorgeous people. My job is to make out with [attractive] men. Like, hello, who wouldn’t be completely threatened by that? But at the end of the day, you have to realize that it’s just a job.”

Love Hayden she is very pretty and well–spoken she’s changed since last year I just see her on magazines covers she used to appear alot on paparazzi pics but now she keeps more quiet. Love Hayden!

She has never said she was perfect so I don’t see why some people act like she is and hold her to higher standards just because she is a celebrity. She obviously moved on from partying and never took it way too far like Britney, Paris or Lindsay have. And some comments here over exaggerate with just another couple in Hollywood that doesn’t talk about their relationship and keeps private. Seriously stop making up your own versions of other peoples lives.

i remember seeing her with paris partying it up and hanging like bffs. i just hope this words don’t comeback to haunt her in the near future. how come she’s always putting britney and lindsay down on the interviews she does, taking shots at them indirectly. but she never talks about paris in the magazines, i wonder why? i think hayden needs to think about a word, karma (:
Anytime a celebrity says on the record that they will never do this or that, they end up doing it. So Hayden, you just dug your own grave, congrats.

#40 She didn’t even mention Lindsay or Britney, I think they just mean younger people in general. What she has said about Britney is that she is rooting for her because she thinks the media built her up and just ripped her down, put every aspect of her life under a microscope and probably made 90% of the stuff up along the way. On Lindsay she has said she was at the same place with Lindsay for New Years and when it was midnight Lindsay took just one sip of champagne and that was it but the media over exaggerated and really tried to make it something bigger than it was.

#42. i know she didn’t mention britney or lindsay, in this article. what i ment to say is that she sometimes takes a shot at what they used to do(ie. partying, getting out of control) indireclty and makes it seem like “oh, i will never end up like them” saying it in a mean-spirited way. but she never talks about when paris went to jail and stuff, and says that it will never happen to her. its my opinion. and i agree with you, the media built them up just to see how much they could take.
i think the majority of the people say hayden who? she’s good lookin, that’s all she has going for her, that’s all she does is use her looks. does anyone really care about what she thinks?

She is definitely overexposed and her comments are going to come back to bite her someday, even if it’s not something as extreme as rehab. I don’t know why she’s putting her self on a miss perfect pedestal like that. There are other ways to get her point across.

Um, she only has champagne? I’m pretty sure the legal drinking age is 21….whatever happened to Hollywood stars. All we have is a bunch of wannabees who have little/no talent. The days of Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Deborah Kerr are long gone.

I’m just tired of her smuggy ass face. The media is just trying to shove her down people’s throats but she doesn’t have any real skill as an actress and she’s only popular among dirty middle aged men into Lolita fantasies, and teenage girls who want to date Milo vicariously through her.
