OlderJude Law: I Have a Dream — Two of Them!
Jude Law pays a visit to ex-wife Sadie Frost’s London home on Monday.
The couple split back in 2003 after six years of marriage.
Terry Gilliam and the producers of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus just confirmed rumors today that Jude, Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell will help complete the film following the sudden death of Heath Ledger on Jan. 22.
“Since the format of the story allows for the preservation of his entire performance, at no point will Heath’s work be modified or altered through the use of digital technology,” the producers said in a statement. “Each of the parts played by Johnny, Colin and Jude is representative of the many aspects of the character that Heath was playing.”
“I am grateful to Johnny, Colin and Jude for coming on board and to everyone else who has made it possible for us to finish the film,” added director Terry Gilliam. “I am delighted that Heath’s brilliant performance can be shared with the world. We are looking forward to finishing the movie and, through the film, with a modicum of humility, being able to touch people’s hearts and souls as Heath was able to do.”

Yeah, dolores, I can see Jude doing “A History of Violence”. He would have been great. Nothing against Viggo. He was great, too. I loved that movie. One of my favorites of 2006.

And have you watched “Tube Tales”? He directed it. A wonderful story (well, stories, actually).

i adored the wisdom of crocodiles because jude was so young but turned in a deeply thought out performance. he spoke with his eyes in many of those scenes….he does that so effortlessly. his dialogue was done with such authencity…to me he was brilliant…..some men and women find wilde difficult to watch because of the homosexual love scenes between steven frye and jude. yet isn’t it a compliment to jude’s acting prowess that he was so uninhibited that he mastered these scenes…..jude is a risk taker. every director knows that. he plunges in, not worrying what people will think…. unfortunately i haven’t been able to see tube tales but i understand he directed it with much sensitivity….yes as you have obviously noticed, i am a huge jude law fan. he has given me so much pleasure all these years. i like what he represents in an actor…..a willingness to try anything that will challenge him and give him a learning experience regardless of whether it will be commercially successful. there is a saying….this above all….to thine own self be true….he certainly is……

i should have added that i have been walking around with such meloncholia since i learned of anthon’y’s passing. you would have thought that he was a member of my family….the unfairness of this is that aside from being so literate, articulate and creative he was like sunshine…a blessedly decent man…..

I agree with you, Dolores. Jude can speak with his eyes. He does not even have to lift his fab eyebrows, and I already feel what he feels. That is why I feel like I was dying!
And since you talked about Oscar Wilde with such affection, I think I will give it a try.
