Clive Owen & Julia Roberts: On-Screen Chemistry?
Julia Roberts and Clive Owen head separately to the set of Duplicity to film interior scenes at a pub in Midtown Manhattan on Monday.
The thriller will be directed by Tony Gilroy (The Bourne franchise, Michael Clayton) and is about a pair of corporate spies who share a steamy past and hook up to pull off the ultimate con job. And duplicity, in case you won’t know, means deliberate deceptiveness in behavior or speech.
Earlier in the week, Julia was seen leaving her home in the Gramercy area and the National Arts Club for film rehearsals.

I am so happy my Pretty Woman is back. She looks so beautiful. Why is it when Julia, smiles in movies, people always say that is all she can do, but when she dosn’t smile they say whats wrong with her. The women can’t win.

Thanks for the one picture of Clive !I wish there were more pictures of this fine actor. He’s one of the best actors around, much better than….well …it’s too bad that he’s so underrated. I am affraid they’ll put the focus on Julia again, while he’d actually be the force driving the movie; he’s a proper actor and she’s a celeb. C’mon, make it more about the real deal.

YA YA YA I love both of them but I saw the trailer and the lack of chemistry between Julia and Clive is almost a distraction….certain scenes feel contrived. They were awesome together in CLOSER and she had amazing chemistry with Richard Gere in PRETTY WOMAN of course everyone surely agrees but zero with him in anything else they did together. I believe ON-SCREEN CHEMISTRY is very important to part of the success of the movie. I am a huge Julia Roberts fan!
