Madonna Inducted into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
Inductee Madonna (in Chanel) shows off her thighs during a see-through moment at the 2008 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony held at NYC’s Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on Monday.
“I’ve always been fortunate to have people around me who believed in me,” Madonna said as she accepted her award. “Life, like art, is a collaboration. I did not get here on my own. And why would I want to? [Even the people who] said I was talentless, that I was chubby, that I couldn’t sing, that I was a one-hit wonder, they helped me, too. They inspired me because they made me question myself repeatedly and pushed me to be better.”

I just got back from the ceremony at the Waldorf and let me say, Madonna looked FABULOUS!!! her outfit was fierce, her body is fierce, and her face looks daaaaamn good for her age…. the photos really don’t do her justice.
iggy pop however, needs to learn when it’s time to put a shirt on… that time passed about 20 years ago. for the love of humanity, iggy, cover that shiz up!
How can I see this? Love Madonna. Love the dress although I think Donna Sumer deserved to be inducted too.

Madonna has had LOTS of plastic surgery, folks. She doesn’t look “damn good for 50″ - she looks completely manufactured - because she is exactly that.

Please all i see is a lot of Mooriah fans here. Compare her face to the pic that was over her head of her induction (the photo art of her 83 debut album) they look the same. Perhaps some botox and such but no way has this woman had any plastic plastic surgery. She still has wrinkles around her eyes. Face it she looks hot as fu#k for her age and she deserves this accolade 100%. The dress, hair and outfit looked amazing on her.. she’s a gorgeous woman

1. Is that a Chanel dress? It’s like a trampy Sailor Moon gone mad with a bottle of bleach and hairspray.
2. Lips are too pale. Too much foundation. Forehead doesn’t move.
3. That bow tie is so out of place on a grown woman.
4. So many dresses on Chanel this season and THE stylist had to pick this one?

By the way I am a die hard Madonna fan and felt disappointed that she didn’t look her best. She started of the year well with the black d&g dresses and the breathtaking taupe gucci jersey dress. This R&R Hall of Fame look brings her 2 steps back in the fashion stakes!
By the way- where is Guy Ritchie on the most important night of his wife’s life?
I loved her speech…Justin’s speech was TERRIBLE. She looked great.
