Jessica Simpson and MySpace President Tom Anderson appear live on the Today Show on Monday in Camp Buehring, Kuwait.
Simpson, Pussycat Dolls, Filter, Disturbed, Carlos Mencia, DJ Z-Trip, and Metal Sanaz performed at the base for “Operation MySpace“, a live concert for 5,000 troops broadcast on MySpace. Jessica also debuted her new film, Major Movie Star.
“I am in Kuwait, I’m enjoying all the troops – having a blast,” she said. “[I've been] signing autographs, meeting them, showing all the support I can. It’s an amazing opportunity to come and support my troops. Everybody out here sacrifices their lives for me and my country.”

Please!!! She’s only there because she has a country record coming out, and that stupid movie of hers will go straight to DVD like Blond Ambition did. Plus she needs some good PR after the Tony Romo/Cowboys fans fiasco. I don’t trust her motives. Everytime she does anything, or is just out with Tony, here come the paps. You know damn well she alerts them to all her comings and goings. She’s so desperate to be relevant and hang on to those last 15 minutes. Sorry girl, your time expired long ago!!

We all know Jessica Simpson is dumb as a box of rocks, but she’s doing a good thing here.

It’s great that she’s there - as long as the rumor going around that she’s getting paid for it aren’t true. And that someone else is footing the bill for her goddamn STYLIST being there as well.
