OlderVanessa Hudgens is Emo
Vanessa Hudgens sits down with Entertainment Tonight to talk about her new teenage romance, Will.
The 19-year-old High School Musical star plays Sa5m (the “five” is silent), a teenage misfit caught up in her high-school’s battle of the bands.
“My look is definitely more dark than in High School Musical,” says Vanessa. “I play kind of the ‘emo, kept away from everybody else in her own world’ kinda girl. She wears a lot of black. She always has longsleeves with thumbs in them.”
Added Vanessa about her costar Gaelen Connell, who plays Will, “We do have a kiss scene–a very funny, awkward kiss scene.”
And Vanessa is glad she didn’t go through the drama a normal kid would get during their teenage years: “Honestly, I never went to high school. I was home schooled all my high school years. Part of me wants to wish that I did go to high school. I’m living my high school experiences through the movies I do–all of them seem to take place in high school. But missing all the drama is not a problem with me.”

I would really love it if Zac flew down to Austin to see Vanessa and they could spend a few days alone down there paps free and just have time to reconnect. Austin and San Antonio especially are soooo romantic. My husband proposed to me on the riverwalk in San Antonio, so I hold it dear to my heart. Whatever they do or wherever they go , I really hope they get time and privacy to be together before they go to Utah.

Great role model. #31……are you serious??? Wow, talk about low standards! She bared all for the world as a young teen and you call that a role model. Well it certainly made her a household name and boosted her career but how sad that she had to employ such trashy behavior to get noticed.
Remember this, the only people that really survive in Hollywood are the ones with true talent and I think she may be in for a surprise when all the High School movies are done.

Cindy: Why do you think they did not meet during these weeks? It is funny when I read speculations about it. We do not know the truth but because of the fact that neither Austin nor the Isle of Man is crowded with paps I can imagine them dating without being spotted. Isn’t it weird that we have no photos of Zac during the weekends? Of course, I am also speculating but this idea makes sense to me. (Or call me a Hopeless Romantic, I can handle that.)
chickie: You are wrong. She is not a role model because of her photos (which I personally find cool and I admit that I have mine pics as well). She is a role model because she realised that she made a mistake and apologised to her fans although there were no reason for that. How adult is that to face the world immediately and say sorry? For me it shows that she is mature. And about the talent: if she weren’t talented, she wouldn’t have gotten the roles in HSM, Thunderbird, Will, etc. Have you ever heard of auditions? Try it once for the sake of fun and you will realise that it is not about enjoying yourself. It is a hard road to reach something in your career but it is even harder to stay on the top. And because of the fact that you and many other people are talking about her in various sites shows me that she is on the top. But in this case, you are right, only time will tell whether she will remain there or not. But I also think YOU will be surprised after HSM3 and not the fans.
