Adrenaline junkie Angelina Jolie boards a private plane on the tarmac of an air field in Smithville, Texas on Tuesday.
Her son Maddox, 6, supposedly joined Angie on a little joy fly in their single-engine plane.
“I love the freedom of it,” Jolie, who has as pilot’s license, has said. “It’s the greatest feeling in the world.”

caroline (the lion :D: ) thank you for all the wonderful pictures - you can really tell how much Shiloh looks like Angie in several of them,
She looks lonely to me, its great to be accomplished, independent, have a pilot’s license, etc., but does she ever enjoy lunch with friends, go shopping or do other fun things with girlfriends. In all of the pictures she is either with Brad who I enjoy seeing her with, or the kids who I wish had more privacy and not in so many photos. It would be a refreshing change to see her out with some celebrity or non celebrity friends just for the hell of it. Brad is clearly the extrovert but its odd that she is so bold in other ways but is probably shy or socially introverted because by now the paparazzi would have taken photos of her out and about with friends. Its kind of sad because after a while its like ok you can do alot and are impressive but is she a friend of and to others. It appears she is a loner. It seems like she and Winona Ryder would have made good friends but in an article I read years ago about ‘Girl Interrupted’ she made it pretty clear that she didnt care Winona, on the other hand Winona was quite complimentary of AJ.

How’s life treating you today? Don’t ya just love little girl Easter dresses. I always loved shopping for my daughter when she was little. Alas at 20 she no longer lets me buy cute dresses

Yes, Angelina has friends, celebrities and non clebrities many of them for many years. And yes there are photos of Angelina out with friends and reports of it .
And you didn’t understood the thing of “Girl Interrupted”. It had nothing to do with Angelina not wanting to be “friends” with Winona, but with Angelina’s character and how she approach her characters back then.
#423: So what do you call (date nights with) the Eastwoods and the Rossdales, chopped liver? If her happiness lies in things like flying an airplane or scooting around in a motorcycle, why would you say she’s lonely?
The most important thing to her are her humanitarian activities and parenting. That’s what makes her complete. Other things are just extras that she does when opportunity knocks.
You should ask your idol why she is still out there looking for love and happiness when she has “friends” she dines out with and vacations with most of the time.
Being a third wheel is not Angie’s thing. Nor are baking in tanning salons and getting nose jobs or parenting a dog instead of kids.

I already bought the candies from my roommate’s kid’s fundraiser. Forgot that I also shopped a week ago for more goodies. Man, a good thing my son has dental insurance on the whole family. She’s gonna get sick of chocolate covered Easter eggs.

also I have been known to throw in a couple of things they don’t like but that I do just so they can share with mama. When it comes to chocolate- you got to do what you can

I know I love all the frilly dress, little white socks and the shoes. When I was little we always received a pair of white gloves also. LOL at the candies - I always stick a new toothbrush in the basket to try and balance things out

I watched that interview.
this is what she said:
in order to give a good performance (and that involved torturing winona mentally) she had to keep a distance from her because angelina loved the human side in Winona, and if they became close, and if winona told her that she had a headache at the set, angelina couldn’t have delivered the role.
She made a very smart decision and gave us one of the best performances in cinema history.
I read many actors’ comments on how they create their roles, but I’ve rarely read a comment with such intelligence and love.
this alone should light a bulb in their heads to finally understand who this woman really is.

Would you prefer her to act like a constant third wheel in someone else’s marriage like someone who shall remain nameless? Give me a break. She has a partner, four children and varied interests. All that leaves her very little time to be lonely.
