Natalie Portman films scenes alongside a Hasidic Jew for the new anthology film, New York, I Love You, at The Brooklyn Bridge in New York City on Wednesday.
No word yet on how closeley Natalie will be working again with Scarlett Johansson (they were most recently costars in The Other Boleyn Girl) on this film. Scarlett was, however, most recently in Brooklyn’s Coney Island filming New York, I Love You as a director.
Natalie reportedly plays the role of a Jewish bride. She joins other established actors such as Elijah Wood, Nick Nolte and Kevin Bacon in a set of several love stories set in NYC.

I know this guy very well he is a very down to earth but let me tell you this the only problem with this whole scandel is that nobody is doing it in the name of god and im talking about most of the rabbis that gave him hell the past few days and for all the ploshers that goes to you to. There only bad mouthing him either there not forgin him or there just plain bored whoever lives in willie knowes very well that we all love action in our boring lives. one major point i want to bring out is that if abe would have a lot of money and would be a big osher i promise you the rabbis would not say a word since they might lose a dime thats a major problem and thats why willie is so messed up. all the ashirim in willie do what the hell they want and nobody gives a hoot as long as they pump the mosdos with cash. but dont get me wrong they are a few good yiden that mean the aibishter even though there osgefrimt they mind there own bussinnes these are the only people i look up to but unfortunenly there are very few of them in willie and as for my friend abe hes doing fine he is smart enough to get out of this mess and he will

I live in willy and my kids are goin in the same scholl as Abe’s child!! how come there was a scandel a few monthes ago with 2 big pepole of our community….. there was a very a”bad” phone call from them to L. Kleim…. that was goin around all over and the kids of these pepole was kept in school????
I am proud that my son is goin in the same school as Abe’s but I would never in the world agreed that my son should go in the same school as these 2 pepole……… but the answer is very simple….. it has nothing to do with hashem (god), yiddishkeit, or torah, its only power and money!!! this is what it all matters to this bastars (rabbis)…..

what bothers me most is that i read comments in ny post about this and all gentiles were compearing jews to muslims which is outragous did you ever hear of any kind of jew blowing himself up killing children and women i dont think so and one thing is for sure if this would be happening in a muslim community they would have made an honor killing thursday night. how in the world can you compare jews to muslims the jewish wifes are treated with a lot of respect unlike by the muslims they have a few wifes hundreds of kids sending most of them to blow themselves up and a muslim wife can never ask for divorce the only chouse she has is to kill herself or her brothers do it for her there a bunch of animals. The pictures in the news show natalie dresses very modest and plain almost ugly well, they have it all wrong most of the jewish women have a very good sence of fashion and they dress very well just in a modest way unlike by the muslims the only thing you can wear is a garbage bag.

I think it might be a great idea for the producer of this film to do a documentary of the chassidm , what a closed and controled community it is that thay are so many of us that wald liked to do what avrumi did , just most of us don’t gat the balls ( I know it my self ) he got , so we keep on serpresing , and shuve our feelings and emotins under the rug trying to play for the world and for ourselves that we are so happy how we are , wake up guys 21 century , we are to exposed to everything start living in state of reality , we can’t bluff any one , u be surprised how the world will be in disbelive that in todays day in the most madern seciety in the hart of the industrial world peple are so sheltered and not able to do what thay really want , freedom of speech, or even living the way a lot of us are wishing that day will some day arivse

They were filming New York, I Love You!!! on West 23rd Street in NYC– I asked one of the crew(nicely) who was inside the trailer and she quietyl said, “Morgan Freeman”. So I guess “always nice” Morgan is in this film.
who isn’t in this movie? they probably chose people who already workedd together and had good chemistry, but all of yous should check out rachel bilson as a blonde in his movie its fugly (sorry rachel bilson fans :(. )
