Wearing an teal-colored velour track suit, Vanessa Hudgens checks into her hotel in Austin, Texas on Wednesday and then heads to the set of her latest movie Will.
The 19-year-old High School Musical star plays Sa5m (the “five” is silent), a teenage misfit caught up in her high-school’s battle of the bands.
“My look is definitely more dark than in High School Musical,” Vanessa has said. “I play kind of the ‘emo, kept away from everybody else in her own world’ kinda girl. She wears a lot of black. She always has longsleeves with thumbs in them.”

According to an extra who was/is in Will, they film Saturday through Wednesday and are off Thursdays and Fridays. I hope Vanessa has a chance to get some rest on her days off and not fly back to LA and work on her album.
For those of you who listened to Bobby Bones talk about his time on the set, it sounds exhausting. He was there three (14-hr) days and all he had was about 12 lines of dialog–introducing the bands at the band competition. But he said they shot every scene from about ten different angles.
wow this thread isn’t even about Miley and yet a commenter on here still bashes her. but wow hating on Miley and Ashley Tisdale, thats pretty harsh. I don’t really understand where the hatred comes from cause I mean Miley took a couple seductive pictures and people were like Ashley is trying to steal Zac away from Vanessa. but whatever i don’t really keep up with Ashley and Vanessa but they seem like nice people. Miley seems really cool too. but i do know that Miley and Ashley support Vanessa and their friends and stuff so why are you hating on Vanessa’s friends?

her name is Vanessa Anne Hudgens. She is a 19 year old singer/actor/dancer, as some would call a triple threat. She was in the movies Thunderbirds and Thirteen. She appeared on many tv shows, like the Suite LIfe Of Zac and Cody and in case you’ve been living under a rock these past few years, she starred in the hit movies High School Musical 1 and 2, as one of the main characters. She also has her own cd and is currently working on her second one due out this summer. When she is not busy singing, acting or dancing, she does alot of charity work , an example the Best Buddies Program.
