Wearing an teal-colored velour track suit, Vanessa Hudgens checks into her hotel in Austin, Texas on Wednesday and then heads to the set of her latest movie Will.
The 19-year-old High School Musical star plays Sa5m (the “five” is silent), a teenage misfit caught up in her high-school’s battle of the bands.
“My look is definitely more dark than in High School Musical,” Vanessa has said. “I play kind of the ‘emo, kept away from everybody else in her own world’ kinda girl. She wears a lot of black. She always has longsleeves with thumbs in them.”

In the photos of her in the velour track suit, she has a huge suitcase so is going from the airport to her hotel. She wasn’t working that day so she could have been wearing her ring, but wasn’t. It’s ok.
Their rings are “purity rings” which confirm their commitment to stay pure til marriage and I’m sure they keep that commitment even when not wearing the rings. The rings are just a “symbol” of that decision.

What planet are you from?? Zac and Vanessa’s rings are not purity rings. You must be thinking of the Jonas Brothers and have come to the Zac and Vanessa party a little late if you think that.
Wow, if Vanessa did go home to work on her album, she must be exhausted. Since the paps didn’t get her arriving or leaving LAX, I was assuming she was doing a photo shoot in Austin.
After all, she is carrying what looks like proofs of herself. I just thought it might be for her album cover. Don’t you take your own outfits when you do a photo shoot? That’s why she had the rolling suitcase.

If in the pics with the boots unlaced she is headed to the set (I get why she doesn’t have a ring on) bu the other pic she has suit cases meaning she was just checking into her hotel why then isn’t she wearing the ring then) just a question. Not tying to cause drama just wanted to know since somebody had a reason why she didn’t have her ring on in the pics where she was headed to the set.

Why are you so concerned about the ring? I don’t get it. She’s working on a movie. And I don’t think she was “checking” into the hotel. Just going back to the hotel she’s staying in. If you look at one of the pics, she’s carrying a set of proofs from what looks like a photo shoot. You don’t wear your own jewelery in a photo shoot, either.
You people have to stop projecting your own insecurities onto Zac and Vanessa. There will be times they don’t wear the rings. Don’t panic. Be mature about it. After all, they are working actors. They are playing roles in movies. And their characters don’t wear Kuiipo rings.

Anyway, I have to agree with Malia that Vanessa is just coming back to the hotel because it doesn’t make sense that she would check out even if she had gone to LA for a couple days—and since it is Wednesday now and it is suppose to be her day off, I don’t think she has gone to LA—and then have to check in again once she comes back. I mean, she has been in Austin for a few weeks now so I doubt she would clean out where she has been living and then have to check into another room. Plus, as Malia said—and I’m not saying this couldn’t be done—but not ONE pap got a picture of her arriving or leaving LAX? She looks tired and rushed in the pictures to me. I would imagine she is getting tired. The one article that was printed last week had said they would be filming at least one more week so maybe this is the last week of filming?
And the ring: Look, everyone, she has been photographed two different times just within the past week when she was doing things after work hours like going to a movie premiere and each time she had her ring ON. I dont’ seriously think she broke up with Zac within the past 2 days. I think the last pic was taken on Sunday where she was wearing the NON-purity ring.

Okay you know I love you guys but I think you’re being a little hard on Kathy. Maybe she was legitimately mistaken and thought they were purity rings. It’s an honest mistake right? That doesn’t mean she’s 12 years old or delusional, it just means she’s mistaken.
I’m sorry gang but sometimes I think we see slights against our couple when none was intended and we go on the attack. And I really think this is one of those times.

I just knew it, the haters have come out of their hidey holes now that there’s a new thread of Vanessa.
I somehow find this purity ring nonsense laughable. Do you honestly need to go around with a public declaration of yr virginity and wear it like some kind of badge of honour?! JeeZ! I wonder who started this fad. I would think this to be a private matter and nobody’s business.
Vanessa sure does have alot of this velvety tracksuits, Seen her in mauve/purple, beige/brown, grey/black and now this. Anyway she looks cute in them.

I think why some people are are commenting about Vanessa not wearing her ring is becuase on the photo’ of her checking into the hotel she does’nt have it on but if she had to go somewhere maybe she had to take it off for that, it’s very, very rare that you see Vanessa without the ring on.
But if you look at the recent photo’s of Vanessa out and about outisde of work she has it on and even when they intervied her recently she had it on then, so I doubt there’s any major reason that she’s not wearing it.
Wonder why she changed hotel’s?
Vanessa like Zac must be getting close to finishing filming sohopefully they will get some time together, or even just be glad to be back in L.A. for a bit as crazy as the pap’s are.
I love the outfits they have showed that Vanessa has been wearing for the movie definetly very diferent from HSM, but change and trying new things is good and she looks like she has had a good time trying something new.

she has what looks like a TON of stuff .. thats a pretty big suitcase… that even seems like alot of stuff if she had gone to la for a couple days .. i don’t know.. i guess i am confused why she would be checking into the hotel with that much stuff as she has pretty much been living in austin for the last month… o well! it’ll be a mystery.
