Wearing an teal-colored velour track suit, Vanessa Hudgens checks into her hotel in Austin, Texas on Wednesday and then heads to the set of her latest movie Will.
The 19-year-old High School Musical star plays Sa5m (the “five” is silent), a teenage misfit caught up in her high-school’s battle of the bands.
“My look is definitely more dark than in High School Musical,” Vanessa has said. “I play kind of the ‘emo, kept away from everybody else in her own world’ kinda girl. She wears a lot of black. She always has longsleeves with thumbs in them.”

I am a fan of Vanessa, Zac and Ashley. I see them going far in their careers. They have all been acting for years before HSM and will continue to work after HSM3. Not only is Vanessa currently filming Will but she had to turn down a role because she was recording her second album. I am sure this is just the begin for these young stars, I hope they enjoy their lives and their careers wherever it takes them.
Thanks Malia, go sox, pink neon and narf and to all the ZA Angels out there! I’ve actually been coming here for a couple months now and for whatever reason decided to post. Maybe it’s because I think that there are so many people in the world that look at people in Hollywood as “different people”. There not. They are just people like you and I who have dreams and some of those just dream to act and perform. It is such a beautiful and amazing experience to be apart and that is where the beauty is. That’s what Zac and Vanessa love about it as I do. Plus you get to meet and work with people that become your family. It’s truly crazy, but a beautiful crazy and it makes the long days all worth while.
There are some who get into Hollywood for the wrong reasons - power, money and fame. Not these two. I have worked (2) events that Vanessa attended and watching her interact with fans and the people she brings with her, I can say that she is such a sweetheart. She is like a little glow worm through her personality and her smile. She does light up a room. And probably one of the tiniest people I have ever seen.
But keep posting and spreading the love that all of you do. I know that there are some crazy people here who post, for that I will never understand. I stand with all of you who support these two beautiful people as you do it all so well.
What is with the hostility? You Zanhos get really defensive when someone doesn’t agree with you. I really think deep down in side you really know “Zanessa” is no longer a couple so you feel the need to lash out when someone doesn’t share your view. Don’t worry though…..when the news breaks that your golden couple is no more…..you all can reminise and cry on each others shoulders about “happier times”.

cosmos, it is a special gift in life to actually work at what you love to do, and get paid!! I do think Zac and Vanessa are special people in their own right. They have a good work ethic and want to be respected for their talents, not their private life and popularity. I seriously hope that their example brings a new generation to Hollywood, since it’s image has taken a lot of hits lately. We’re all sick of the behaviors….we’re just hoping for better, and these two are worth rooting for! Thanks again for your great words!

The ZA Angels left Just Jared and started a hater free site of their own didn’t they? Aren’t those who are still here called Zanessa’s Angels?
I remember seeing something on the ZA Angel Youtube account that said they do not wish to be associated with Just Jared or the Zanessa’s Angels anymore.
At least that is what I understood from what I read.
undertaker and jess, you both need to chill. You get upset when we contradict something you say, but it’s because nothing you say is based on fact. You have no valid proof of your statements. And you come off sounding like know-it-alls. I’m not sure what your problem is, but come on, you gotta know that there are fans here who will shoot you down. Don’t get so defensive. Jess, Vanessa was wearing her ring just THIS PAST SATURDAY. That is not speculation. It was evident in the pictures posted.

I think Cosmos has made the most sense on any Zac or Vanessa thread I have ever seen and I’m sure it’s because he/she works in the biz. and knows the craziness that occurs. Celebs are regular people who we admire and look up to in a lot of ways, but that does not mean they owe us anything. I am just as curious as the next fan to know what they are up to, but it is a guilty pleasure and I do feel bad for them sometimes.
PR is a good thing too though and they know that.
It is sad about the ring thing becoming an obsession by many, but it is such a sweet story and gesture that many have fallen in love with..It’s almost become like a where’s Waldo game! hahaha!
Zac and Vanessa as a couple and seperately are wonderful people and I hope they stick to their genuine ways.

Thanks Dalia. And believe me even though I work in the industry it’s just as much a guilty pleasure for me as it is you to follow people your fans of. And I have no problem saying I am a woman turning 35 this year and I am a fan of these 2. For whatever reason they captivated me in HSM and I have been fans of their’s ever since. I cannot wait to see what they bring to us in the future. And right now 2008 & 2009 look great!

Maggie, Undertaker is very intent on making us fans “take our rose-colored glasses” off and see their “truth”, upset that we think Vanessa has a career after HSM ( “Will” is proof that Vanessa lives past HSM, by the way), thinks we “live in the past”, yada-yada-yada…… and Jess, well, she got jumpy when she got in the middle of the quote wars earlier, and is very intent on proving that because one doesn’t have a ring on, they’re not together. Those are the examples I meant.

Maggie, you and undertaker are obviously really bothered about Vanessa to come on her thread and argue with her fans. I don’t give a hoot about most celebrities but their fans are entitled to love them. I don’t go on their threads or click any news about them as I don’t care to acknowledge their existence. I only visit Vanessa and Zac threads or sites on the internet.
Maybe you both should do that if you want us to believe you are mature and not upset about someone who doesn’t care what you think about them.
The less you visit their threads, the less you are confronted with adoring fans like me, the less upset you’ll be and the happier your life will become.

On another note, welldone all the ZA angels and Cosmos, so happy V and Z have such mature fans and thanks Malia for that wonderful video. It brought tears to my eyes. It really shows what is so lovable about V.
All the talk of free speech: That means everyone can say whatever they want whenever they want. However, I do think there is a restriction on lying if it causes defamation of character which is what many of these people do on the board at times. So, seeing everyone has the right to free speech, we supporters of Vanessa as well as Zac either set the record straight or use our right and say what we think. But many times it can seem like a big game.
Much of these problems could be easily controlled if those people who just want to cause trouble by saying horrible things about Vanessa which are definitely not true like she is a w**** or s*** —-and it is lies and there is no proof of this, because she isn’t—-if these people would not post these things then nobody would have to defend by stating the truth—-which sometimes comes with a quote—-and then someone else wouldn’t have a reason to say something insulting and it goes on and on.
So, say what you want but keep it factual and then don’t get mad if someone disagrees with you and tells you why. But the one rule needs to be no bold-face lies are printed because that also becomes a game as those type people are just enjoying manipulating posters and causing trouble. When those things happen then don’t get mad if someone tells that type person what they think. Because that opens up the door to a whole new ballgame.

Believe it or not, most of us on this board DO NOT think that Vanessa is innocent. We think she is a red blooded American teenager and human being who makes mistakes. But she didn’t lie about it or try to get out of it. She readily admitted to what she had done—taking full responsibility for her actions. She even said she was sorry if it offended anyone. Obviously you are one who was offended by what she did. So now it is your responsibility to forgive. IF you don’t then don’t get so upset that most of the people on this board did FORGIVE her.
Actually, it seems to me that people like you who keep going on about the pictures are more upset with a person like me who don’t give two hoots about the picture. You’re more angry that I’m not insulted like you are over them.You are upset that Vanessa is still getting attention and has her fan base intact—-maybe even a bigger one than she did. That kind of thinking is jealousy, it is envy, and resentment all rolled into one. And it is probably based on the fact that you feel like your life is unfair because you have none of what Vanessa has. So, you compensate for those feelings by finding fault with her. It is unfortunate that you and people like you only have ONE really tangible thing to bring up against her. I’ve been around for some time in this world so you might as well not tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about here.
