Isla Fisher shoots additional scenes for her new romantic comedy Confessions of a Shopaholic in New York City on Thursday morning.
Looks like her character is going to be wearing over-the-top looks all movie long!
The fur trim and gold chains on those pointy below-the-knee fuschia boots?! Oh, be-haaaaaave!
And those orange gloves to match the orange stripes on her Gucci bag? Wa-wa-wee-wa-wa!

I’ve read the Shopaholic books, and the outfits they’ve put Isla in aren’t true to the character in the books. That’s too bad; the books are funny w/o having Becky dressed up like a kook.

OMG. WHO IS THE COSTUME DESIGNER OR STYLIST FOR THIS MOVIE???? he/she must be fired asap. i really enjoyed the shopaholic series and this is not how i imagined the character of rebecca would dress. AT ALL. BAD CHOICES.

that is one tacky costume. the boots are totally wrong for the dress…it should be black heels! the gucci bag is too much and seriously…?? the jacket does not compliment with the dress well. lastly, the gloves just has to come off!
alone with the dress is cute but the other things ruin it. i think isla will play the perfect becky but the costumes are just weird…
Seems like they are trying to copy Sarah Jessica Parker’s outfits in Sex and the city but not very successfully! Well maybe not to copy but make them as original.
There is something wrong nowadays that really started with Patricia Field in Sex and the City: let’s put together random items and Let’s call it stylish!!!! This is unnerving. Who wants us to believe that mediocre work of putting things together is “fierce”?
Sienna Miller, Chloe Sevigny, Kate Hudson etc are considered style / fashion icons… RIGHT!!! . They actually have no idea… They just put things( not even really stylish) together randomly and one should believe it is high Fashion! Frankly, there is not more fashion than Vogue/ Harpers Bazaar and when they feature these above named girls, they always groom them and this is what fashion is…

I hope the wardrobe is not going overshadow the story as happened a lot in Sex & The City.
There baby is probably going to be a gorgeous child. Daddy has those dark mysterious looks and mama is cute as a button. Might be a very good mix.
WHY WHY WHY!??!! I am so ANGRY!! They have completely ruined this book! The casting is horrible, Becky is supposed to have fabulous fashion sense, so what the hell is this? The book takes place in london not new york (except for the second book) and I defiantly imagined becky british and brunette as she is described in the book.
ugh, she looks like Daphne out of Scooby Doo, nothing like Beck AT ALL!
