Christian Slater Joins NBC Series
Christian Slater is said to be joining a TV series with NBC, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The new series comes from writer Jason Smilovic (Bionic Woman) and is being touted as a mix of The Bourne Identity and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
Slater, 38, will play a mild-mannered suburban dad who learns that his alter ego is a spy.
This will be Christian’s first TV series but he’s had guest arcs on NBC’s The West Wing and ABC’s Alias.

Christian Slater no longer looks like Christian Slater. He’s somewhere between a llama and a Baldwin and I’m kind of scared.

His eyebrows are scary, but I think he’s still kinda sexy. I fell in love with him in Heathers, but I don’t know what really happened to him since then. He’s lost a lot of it, but he’s stil pretty attractive to me

So wait, this character will be multiple (like Sybil or Herman’s Head)? This is entirely bizarre to me, because in real life the CIA has a long history of trying to make people be multiple on the theory that they could make super-spies like this, who could never turn on them because they wouldn’t remember the spy thing in their daytime lives. (Creepy but true, and involving a lot of REALLY stupid and horrible experiments on people.) And now it’s evening entertainment….

hollywood guys don’t normally go this route until they’re way into middle age–he used to be very cute. wow, he should get in touch with helen mirren, and learn how to age gracefully!

I really liked him in Broken Arrow, 3000 Miles to Graceland and Murder in the First (great film). He shoulda been a bigger star - probably got into booze, drugs and ego. tooooo bad and now he looks freaking awful. Sad, sad, sad.
I was never a fan of Christian but since watching “He was a Quiet Man” I think he has great talents, he was remarkable! Check out the movie people!
How the hell is he only 38?! He looks in his 40’s. Guess that’s the botox look for you. People think it makes them look younger.
Could it be Hair Plugs & Facelift & Botox???. . . .Something sure has made him appear quiet un-natural. . . .Why don’t all these Hollywood actor and actresses just get fitted for life like masks made of silicon or resin and save themselves a lot of money and pain. . .at least they could take them off. . .
CS took same eyebrow stencil workshop as Carrot Top!!! Hardly the same cute kid I saw live on stage lisping his way thru ‘Wells Fargo Wagon’ almost 30 years ago… I watch little on NBC, but I may have to give him a chance
