The Hills vixen Heidi Montag previewed her fashion line on Us Weekly. Dresses, tops, jeans, bags and jewelry are all priced under $60 and will be available nationwide at Anchor Blue stores starting this April.
Here are some choice quotes from Heidi, who’s her own spokesmodel:
On her line being more affordable than ex-pal Lauren Conrad: “Lauren’s line is not necessarily something I would wear - she’s trying a high-fashion thing, but it’s a little overpriced. Mine is fun and flirty for the everyday woman. Most people can’t afford $200 for one dress.”
On how people can dress her clothes up and down: “Throw on flats or heels, you’re ready to go!”
On her former BFF Lauren: “When we were in school, I was the designer, and she was in, like, product development.”

OK i am african american, so maybe i dont understand the appeal. But do all white girls desire to look like cheap hookers. These clothes are tacky. I saw Lauren’s collection and it wasnt bad at all. Maybe the prices should be a littler lower but I wouldn’t buy any of this mess. I am trying hard to understand how she keeps getting into magazines.
Heidi needs to shut the **** up; I hate how she has to mention Lauren in every single little thing she says. If she hates Lauren so much then; why is her name in her mouth every .5 seconds. Both girls’ lines suck! They both look like stuff in Forever 21 or Wet Seal. But she does have a point here - Lauren’s crap is ridiculously priced. High fashion? LOL, sure. Even Lauren’s old boss at Teen Vogue said her clothes are cheap and aren’t haute couture. It’s a joke that she got a spot in LA’s fashion week, but then again, this even bigger joke (Heidi) won’t ever get that far. She needs to get off Lauren’s jock and do her own thing for once….oh, and stop name dropping! Heidi’s so sad.

Heidi’s clothes are alright but she’s right about one thing, not everyone can afford a $200 dress. Lauren Conrad’s collection is extremely plain for such high prices and not worth it in my opinion.

Seriously, Heidi? We all know the hills isn’t totally real and all, but on the FIRST episode, YOU were the one who wanted to do merchandising, and be PR. LAUREN wanted to do designing.
Honestly, if you were over everything that happened with her, and you didn’t REGRET it happening, you honestly wouldn’t be commenting on every little thing she does wrong every time you get in front of a camera. You’d be politely declining to comment, because IT NO LONGER CONCERNS YOU.
