Well, it certainly is not Umbrella, but I think it is a catchy pop song. The lyrics, while not too deep, are still clever enough and certainly can be ascribed to something many people can relate to.
All in all, I like it.
I don’t get why everyone is making a big deal about Rihanna. She is a pop singer, and this is a pop song. It is not meant to be deep and thought-provoking. Pop music is meant to be FUN! Rihanna is hot right now and her music is something you can put on to forget about the real world. Not all music has to have an orchestral score rivaling Mozart’s or be self-written.
I for one am very proud to be a Rihanna fan and do think that she has substantial talent.
May she continue conquering the charts!

Well let’s see, if you have enough time in your life to scope out sites with artists unreleased songs just to insult the music, or the artist herself, then you need a new life. Rihanna has released some amazing music, and if you actually listen to the song, the lyrics make perfect sense, especially for those who know what it feels like to be cheated on. this song was not world premiered on seacrest! it was leaked and on radio stations across the country nearly 2 weeks ago. besides, you can’t make a world premiere of a song on a radio station that isn’t broadcasted across the globe.
