OlderBrad Pitt Teams Up with Bill Clinton

Today (Sunday), Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to appear with Brad, who is leading an effort aimed at building affordable, energy efficient homes in the Lower 9th Ward. Pitt’s Make it Right project will be the site for Clinton and CGIU (The Clinton Global Initiative University) participants.
CGIU is “geared to get college students to address global issues through workshops and meetings on things like climate change, human rights, global health and poverty alleviation. Seven-hundred students from across the globe, university presidents, celebrities and local leaders are all part of various panel discussions and speeches at the school.”

BRAD Pitt “despised” ex-wife Jennifer Aniston after just six weeks of marriage, claims actor Omid Djalili.
Omid, who met Brad on the set of ‘Spy Game’ in 2000, gave the actor marriage advice after Brad admitted he wasn’t happy with Jennifer.
The British comic star revealed to Britain’s Daily Express newspaper: “I did a scene with Brad in the back of a taxi and it was only a few days after he had married Jennifer. I chatted to him for hours giving him advice about the three stages of marriage.
“Stage one is perfection - blind love. Stage two is the difficult stage because you start to despise everything about her. If you can deal with the baggage you can possibly get to stage three - a harmonious marriage.
“After six weeks Brad came up to me and said, ‘I’m definitely in stage two Omid!’ “

Bill Clinton meets Brad Pitt in storm-hit area

Former President Bill Clinton met with actor Brad Pitt and hundreds of volunteers in the Lower 9th Ward on Sunday at the site where a foundation headed by Pitt plans to begin building affordable homes for Hurricane Katrina victims.
“We hope to see a huge change here in the next six months,” Pitt told a group of residents as he posed with them for pictures Sunday and signed autographs.
Pitt and Clinton walked a street as hundreds of volunteers on either side, wielding shovels and rakes, prepared the land for homes. For hours, they cleared overgrown grass and weeds that were covering street drains and sidewalks.
The Lower 9th Ward was one of the hardest-hit neighborhoods in New Orleans when Katrina struck on Aug. 29, 2005, causing the city’s levee system to fail with devastating flooding.
“We’re working to get the grounds ready so construction can begin,” said Anne Bouthilette, a 20-year-old sophomore history major at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.
Many media representatives were refused direct interviews with Clinton, who has been making public appearances around the country as Hillary Clinton seeks the Democratic presidential nomination.
A brass band played in the background as Clinton and Pitt shook hands and chatted with volunteers.
Bouthilette said this was her first visit to New Orleans, and she was enjoying the opportunity to help with the city’s recovery.
“There’s a pressing need for people to come down here and do work,” she said. “There are still so many things that need to be done. Everybody can do something.”
Bouthilette was one of about 600 college students in New Orleans for the Clinton Global Initiative University, a three-day program that began Friday and was designed to challenge college students and universities to tackle global problems with practical, innovative solutions.
The event wrapped Sunday with the volunteer effort in the Lower 9th Ward, at the site where Pitt and his Make It Right Foundation are building homes using environmentally friendly materials such as cisterns and solar panels for residents who lost their homes in the storm.
Before his stop in the 9th Ward, Clinton participated in a forum with student journalists to discuss issues important to America’s college students. Students from the University of Southern California, Howard University and Tulane University were among those who to participated.
The event was taped and segments are scheduled to air on March 26 on mtvU, MTV’s college network which broadcasts to more than 750 college campuses nationwide.

Brad is looking great. His MIR project groundbreaking was today. President Clinton and 600 college/university students from all over the world partake in this great milestone with Brad for the benefit of NOLA.. NOLA is only a 1.5 hour flight or less from his film location so he can check on their home and his MIR project with ease.
Brad has his whole family on location with him in Texas while he films his new movie with the TMalick and Sean Penn. The family is living on a ranch and loving the experience. The people in Texas are also protecting their privacy. As Brad said, if my family is happy, I am happy.
Brad gets to love seeing his love Angie swell ever larger daily with his 5th child in 3 years. Brad is the man.
Life is good for the Jolie-Pitt family.

Have you tried talking to Jared at all? You’re constantly encouraging people to boycott this or that or you’re writing directly to people who slam Angie or Brad, but you’re not willing to go directly to Jared? Why not? What do you gain by ripping into him in the blog messages? How is he supposed to be aware that you have a problem if you don’t tell him? I can almost guarantee that he doesn’t read all the posts on this site. I’m not thrilled with all the thread subjects either, but I respect the fact that it’s Jare’d site and his call. You, on the other hand, complain all the time, so why not just cut out the middle man and go directly to the source?

Why are you assuming I have never written Jared? I have written Jared several times. A few of those times, it has most definitely been to communicate my distaste with a particular thread.
However, I don’t need to be having REGULAR long azz convos in e-mail w/ Jared about why I think a thread is stupid, hateful or exploitative. When that starts happening, it’s time to go.
I’ve written him a couple of times before when a particularly wack thread had surprised all hell out of me - and seemed so unlike him — and I did it regarding that Shiloh ’stalker’ ad for In Touch he put up, which probably contributed to moving more issues for Bauer publisihing. I thought that particularly egregious.
But bottomline, when it becomes a habit…that. is. when. I’m. GONE.
It’s pretty simple math.
I don’t have time to write to Jared every time out of the box, about every wack thread that may arise. By this time, I would have thought Jared knew the fans very well. Hell, he should know us like the back of his f**king hand.
We don’t like threads that exploit and harm children (stalking threads, child of rape threads, etc.). Nor do we like it when Jared does the advertising for some weekly rag issues that exist to malign Angelina and the JPs.
With this latest thread - it should also be very easy to see that we don’t like preposterous threads that feature lookalikes and exist to laughably try and trick the fans. Waste. of. time.
After the first few wack threads, there really is no need to keep running to Jared to tell him why I loathe a particular thread.
It’s simple really. I’ll say it sucks, say why it sucks and stay in the old thread.
When there gets to be too many of them, I’m outta here.
It’s really not complicated. I don’t owe him any more than he owes me.

A few other things, ‘q,’ is ‘georgitzy (ritzy/georgica) who is homeless after having been banned at JJB, she also has gone about supplementing actual Angelina interviews, with her own hastily created and misspelled bullshit. Those of us who read AJ’s old VF issue from 2005 knew what was up as soon as we read it — AJ didn’t say have the crap in that supposed ‘excerp.’ She took a few real quotes from the article/interview and mixed it with some tabloid bullshit. Talk about a fantasy hodge podge from a dried up jealous old bish. Quit getting your depends in knots, just because Brad and Angie continue to rule the world, adore each other and have babies. Your pathetic, go worship your plastic surgery fiend and TV sit-com has been.
Also, the realestalker article — either penned by another jealous ol’ bish of a middle aged/senior female who hates Angie and Brad because they’re beautiful and fertile (lol) OR…a misogynistic queen who hates them for the same reason. I swear some people are diseased — why expend all this energy and demeaning language on a couple actually raising children that could have died in disease and war ravaged countries…the fact that their second biological child has driven so many of these freaks over the f**king edge, speaks volumes about their sad pathetic lives.

I believe Huvane and Aniston, planted that story to deliberately paint Angie as a bish, and to continue riding this ’showdown/party,’ bullsh*t into the ground. That plastic old homely TV has been, can literally do NOTHING, under her own steam. She’s a no talent famewhore boring HAG.

My thoughts on the Make it Right project :–
There is good that come out of these. 1st — People who were displaced will have a home. 2nd — there will be jobs created during construction.
Finally, once this neighborhood is put back together, this can be a POTENTIAL tourist stop for tourists, visiting the area planned with the world’s renowned architects. We all know tourists like to visit UNESCO world heritage sites. The same reasoning can apply here. Travel company can set up WALKING tours. Where can you find a place with all those houses, planned by world renowned architectects ALL IN ONE LOCATION ? And to see how eco-green features are applied, to learn about the history of pre and post Katrina. It could be very educational too.
With tourist bus bringing people to the neighborhood, there will be shops springing up to cater to the tourist, gift shops, restaurants, ice cream store, coffee shop, hotels, etc. Gift shops can sell post Katrina postcards, different houses blueprints, tote bags, MIR T shirts. Heck, they can even bottle those dirt or muds from the site and sell them. It’s all good for the local ECONOMY.
Tourism is big business !!!
Brad’s ideas are BRILLIANT !!! This is the man who has the foresights, the connection, the drive , and the heart. He has all my respect.
We should be greatful that Brad is shepherding this project with his precious TIME.
