Ben & Jen are Team Obama
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner host a fundraiser for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama at a Boston nightclub “Rumor” in Massachusetts on Sunday.
Sold-out “pre-party” tickets ($250 each) allowed some one-on-one time with the couple. Regular $50 tickets allowed entry into the club, where Bennifer mingled.
Ben and BFF Matt Damon recently agreed to help judge a contest sponsored by MoveOn.org to find the best ad supporting Obama’s campaign.
Jen has a run in her stockings! But cute Christian Louboutin Mary Janes…

absolutely hate it when celebrities mix with politics

Celebrities are no more or less clueless than you are or anyone else is.
Oh, what about all those CEOs that mix politics with their job?IS that OK with you? Whats the differentce other than they usually support Reputlicans? Just becuase you disagree with celebrities politics doesnt mean they cant assert their first amendment rights to talk about what they believe jsut like all Americans can!
#74 I’m not speaking of this one event. These two have shown others that they do not like to be together in public, but the ironic thing is they are both actors that married an actor. What gives? They may have the best marriage in life, they just do not show it at all. If they plan on staying married forever then they might want to give it a try and just live somewhat normal instead of hiding the marriage.

No one says Jen and Ben are perfect. On that same note, Jen and Ben don’t have to prove to the public that they are married and happy (or not).
Yes, in most pics they don’t walk together (don’t want to be in the same frame shot).
There have also been some recent pics of PDA (pet store pics in Feb.). And other candid shots taken by fans, not paps, showing PDA.
Again, I just don’t think that you can judge someones marriage based on pics taken by paps (that this couple deplores). Now, if there are pics of them at home, in their bedroom, over private dinners etc. then those might speak to happiness or not.
But, public pics taken by paps do not tell a story of a solid or a poor marriage.

Ok…so if you are making assumptions of their unhappiness (especially Ben) by one pic of him…well maybe I can post this pic to prove that maybe they’re not so unhappy…obviously if we want to judge their relationship only by these things!

I think that also the article is interesting!
It said that they were joined at the hip backstage but on stage they were never together (maybe just because they organized this event not to publicised their marriage but to raise money for something in which they believe in!)
According to another insider, Garner was directing the couple’s flow - and lack of togetherness….pretty interesting considering that you are always speculating that he is the one who doesn’t want to be pictured with her!
Maybe those are just words or maybe it’s true….the only certain thing is that no one in this place knows the truth about their marriage…not me (a fan) not you( haters)!

#89, I agree, I want pics to go with the sightings, BUT I am also glad that Ben, Jen and Violet can enjoy some time without 25 paps around.
See, when they are in NY or Hollywood the paps are all around. They stake out their house and then follow them. But, when they are in DC or in Boston, it’s harder to stake them out.
Plus around DC it’s cool to have stars around, but people don’t bother them or call in phone tips to a photo agency. Besides, the paps are to busy staking out the Mayflower, in case some Governor is around. LOL!

another thing I was wondering, how can Jen be with Ben if she’s filming a movie? there are sightings of them together from last week to now, i think her part in the movie is not that big maybe bigger than the other women there but not as big as MM’s.
to tell you the truth i’m kind of happy about that, this movie doesn’t sound that good (but i’ll watch anything Jen does) i’m more excited about the new movie with RG it’s a great cast and the movie sounds interesting.
Hey if they want to support the man that’s going to bring about the end of the world, then let them. it’s a free country, but something about obama scares me, and no it’s not because he’s muslim. i know why he scares me but i can’t say it on here. just listen to the preacher.anyways, christianity and the church are in trouble if he wins.
