OlderMichelle Williams: Matilda & Me Time!
Michelle Williams keeps a watchful eye on photographers as she takes a stroll around New York City on Sunday afternoon with daughter Matilda Rose, 2.
The 27-year-old actress recently gave an interview in the April 2008 issue of Elle. Here’s what she had to say:
On Matilda being her greatest treasure: When I have too much free time, that’s when things start to get a little messy. [Tears pool in eyes, then she smiles.] Matilda’s the prize. She’s bigger to me than any relationship, bigger than the awards. She’s what came out of it.”
On Matilda being a Brooklyn baby: “She’s such a New York kid. That’s what she’s thinking about: going home. Every morning we go to the coffee shop. She’s ready to go back and get her bagel, and I’m ready to get a really good cup of coffee.”
On the shock of hearing that Katie Holmes was dating Tom Cruise back in 2005: “I was shocked. [My actress pal Busy Philipps] called and said, “You’re never going to believe who Katie’s with now.” And I’m like, “Who?” And she said, “Who’s the biggest movie star you can think of?” I said — this is embarrassing — ‘Tom Selleck?!’”

Even though I love any story about Michelle or looking at her pictures, she’s such a unique person in this industry, the paps really need to leave her alone, she needs to be left alone-she doesn’t ask for this attention. Geez.

I’ll really miss the Heath and Matilda pictures. I wasn’t a huge fan of Heath’s films (all I’ve seen is BBM and TTIHAY), but for some reason Matilda/Heath sightings were my favorites.
Maybe it’s from the angle of the pictures, but I see a little less of Heath and more of Michelle in Matilda now. Before it was all Heath. I was always very iffy on Michelle but in every interview she comes off as very normal and down to earth. She doesn’t give the canned answers like most actors/actresses do.
pity all you want but there’s nothing admirable about her.

I love watching matilda shes so cute :D but i feel so guilty.. its pretty obvious michelle doesnt want the photagraphers up her nose and i understand that.. i think we should leave them alone cuz its hard enough as it is right now and i dont think matilda should grow up with this kind of attention
