Brad and Angelina’s Tiara Sandwich
Brad Pitt and expectant mommy Angelina Jolie are all smiles while posing with tiara-wearing resident Dee Carla Rogers, 9, in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday.
Brad, 44, has been busy working with his “Make It Right 9″ Foundation and Bill Clinton’s global initiative to aid Huricane Katrina victims.
Earlier in the day, Angie, 32, took the kids to the corner store for snacks.

It all started with a dubious website for underemployed writers and a post that can best be described as the Internet equivalent of a casting call for a Valtrex ad. “Writer wanted for popular celebrity blog. Style must match exactly. I need to take a break for personal reasons and want to keep posting continuous for the readers. You will post under my name only. Send two sample posts to xxxxx@hotmail.com. Pay good.”
It was the last bit that snagged me. I needed money and I don’t have a lot of pride. I also don’t have a lot of knowledge about celebrities so I went over to the site and checked it out. It was your basic celebrity blog: paparazzi pic, 100-word snarky description and hundreds of venomous commenters. I could totally ghost this. So I practiced my typos, snagged a couple of (probably copywrited) pictures off another blog and sent it in.
The reply was immediate via an obviously faked e-mail account. “I’m putting your posts up. If the readers like them, you’re in.”
The readers liked me. Or at least my slightly better grammar (I couldn’t help it!) didn’t tip them off that I wasn’t Madame herself. Although technically it could have been Monsieur. Throughout our entire time together I never was exactly sure whom I was speaking to or what exactly the crisis of a personal nature entailed.
The job description was straightforward: There was a morning push and an afternoon push. I needed a minimum of four posts in each push. The pay per post ended up only being “good” if I could do each push in under an hour. Four posts of 100 words? Easy peasey.
My first day, I blocked out an hour before the morning push was due and started scanning the photo sites Madame had sent me for a usable picture. Sifting through pages of blurry camera phone shots (if only Big Foot were considered a celebrity!), irrelevant and thankfully indiscernible nudie pics and thousands of inane comments took me forty five minutes and left me with an undated picture of Rihanna on a beach and an Angelina Jolie promo shot from her latest movie. But they were of a decent quality so I downloaded them and dutifully started the posts. Blankness. How was I supposed to know what Rihanna does at the beach? Sweating now as I watched the clock tick by, I hastily googled her, hoping to find some story that would give me titillating information to attach to the otherwise bland picture. Still nothing.
Timidly I e-mailed Madame, who responded promptly from her Blackberry, “Don’t worry about the story. Just get good pic. Write something. Love sources.” Well, that was the gist of it anyhow, minus the punctuation. I gulped and finally wrote some inane blather about her unflattering bikini and athletic thighs. As soon as I hit post, I knew I’d betrayed my gender. And my own thighs. And intelligent folk everywhere. I hastily edited it to add a line about her “glowing skin.” All better. Right?
The commenters eviscerated me. The picture was apparently over a week old, had already been discussed ad nauseum earlier, and how did I not remember that her thighs were fat, not athletic. One more-observant-than-normal person wrote, “Madame, are you sick? Is this even really you?”
Madame was furious and let me know it short, grammatically challenged bursts. What I took away was that I needed to, duh, check the archives before I posted and also check the archives of every other celebrity blog on the Internet to make sure they hadn’t already covered it. If they had, I had to either scrap the post or come up with a better angle. Slowly I realized that this was going to take me a lot longer than fifteen minutes a post. There are only so many angles on Angelina Jolie, and I’m not just talking about her collar bone.
I stumbled along through the rest of the morning push, coming out with several inoffensive, mostly incoherent, but at least current, posts. There was Liv Tyler. And something about Lindsay Lohan (isn’t there always?). I had to kill the Angelina Jolie story because, frankly, I couldn’t think of a single new thing to say about her.

Just as I was beginning to think this job was going to work out (when I bothered to think about it all, which I tried not to do because then I had to pay attention to the Jiminy Cricket drowning in the fountain of bile in my stomach), a celebrity struck back. I had felt safe in my electronic nowhereville, hadn’t even imagined that the people I was writing about might actually read what I had written and, heaven help me, have an opinion about it.
Michelle Williams tripped me up. Heath Ledger wasn’t dead yet and so she was still a middling celebrity. But she made the mistake of wearing a blousy shirt and getting photographed at an unflattering angle so I did what any good first-time celebrity blogger would do: I cried pregnancy. I even cited a “source” confirming the happy news, that actually linked back to an interview with Williams in which she discussed nothing even remotely close to children or pregnancy or even Heath. It was no bigger a lie than any of my other posts (and probably nicer) but, strangely, the celebrity blogs went haywire with it. The link was posted on numerous other sites, corporate media ones even, all citing me (well actually Madame) as the source. Apparently none of them bothered to fact check my post. By the next day, it was everywhere. Williams’ rep even issued a statement vehemently denying the rumors.
Madame was giddy. I was horrified. How angry was Williams when she when read my post? Was it possible she could sue me? I’d been a celebrity blogger for all of three days and suddenly I was facing possible legal action? Madame comforted me by pointing out that celebrities don’t have time to sue everyone who writes crap about them. Plus Williams got tons of free publicity out of it, so she probably secretly liked it. Great, now I felt like a literary rapist.
We all know the entertainment press lies. Press flacks lie. Celebrities lie. And yet a part of us still believes, or wants to. In a sick twist of karma, Ashton Kutcher has even come out with a variation of his hit show “Punk’d” - called Pop Fiction - except this time it’s the celebs pulling the pranks. (Hear the story about Paris Hilton and her Guru? Avril Lavigne pregnant? No? What kind of American are you? Watch more TV, already. The economy depends on you!) And the People-reading masses are the butt end of the joke. It’s all an effort to show us how the celebs manipulate the media and media manipulates us. I hope Ashton succeeds. Or at least gets pregnant.

What a glorious time it is for us fans of this couple and their children! While Brad is doing his movie and his humanitarian projects, Angelina is taking care of the kiddies and at the same time being there to support him. Sigh, what a lovely lovely sight to behold. I’ve been taking a look at x’s thread and the photos of her face and totally enjoying the comments made by the xhens squawking about how gorgeous she looks. HAHAHAH.
For a woman who has smoked a pack a day since she was 16 and tanned regularly, she is without wrinkles or movement in her forehead!!!! And when she smiles, the brackets around her mouth has disappeared. Even her chin looks smaller.

Brad didn’t leave x because she didn’t give him any babies.
Brad left her because he didn’t want her to become the mother of his children. X the mother of his children was too abstract idea to him.
I have to agree with this person simply because Brad and X both stated that babies wasn’t the reason and Brad also stated that he thought with Angie the time was right and he couldn’t have asked for a better mother for his children. I could only imagine how X would go on and on about what she wanted when and if they had children and Brad would be like what the h##. I really believe he just saw the light and wanted something so different for him and the family that he so desparately wanted to create. Just my opinion…

No, I’m wearing jeans today.
What did I do yesterday? Nothing much really… I told you, I’m boring, lol. I went home, settled in, took care of Lilly, had dinner, answered some messages and watched DWTS. Exciting huh? I’m not much for the night life.
Lilly’s great, she doesn’t have a care in the world, nor should she really. She’s got it better than I do, lol. She’s not declawed, but she wouldn’t hurt you or anybody :D . She’s really affectionate. She’s all white (her Siamese side, really soft fur) except for tabby striped ears, tail, and spots on her back. She’s an original, that’s for sure.

Jolie had four inches trimmed to get this subtly layered, below-the-shoulder cut. Hairstylist David Babaii, who often works with the actress, says “it’s a classic Vidal Sassoon ’round layer cut,’ which creates cascading layers that reduce some of the weight in her hair so it flows better. The key is not to over-frame the face with too many choppy layers.”
Her expert’s styling secrets
1. Raise the volume
“Angelina’s hair is so silky it needs product to give it just a bit of texture,” Babaii says. “Wave spray does that, so long, straight hair gets an instant lift.” He sprays the roots of damp hair, then blow-dries starting on top with a medium round brush, rolling sections away from the face.
2. Vary the curl
On top, he wraps 1- or 2-inch sections of hair around the barrel of a 1½-inch curling iron, hot-roller-style, curling hair away from the face. On the sides, he holds the iron vertically to wrap sections back, then slides the iron out and hair-clips the underside of each curl close to the scalp.
3. Give it a lift
Once the curl has cooled and he unwraps the clips, he uses a flat, firm-bristle toothbrush that has been spritzed with a little hairspray to back-comb the base of each section. He starts about 1 inch from the roots and brushes back toward the scalp. The friction builds fullness and hold.
4. Loosen the set
Babaii uses a boar-bristle paddle brush to gently brush through the hair. The bristles graze the top layers so you don’t lose the lift at the base. He then shakes the hair out using his fingers. “This smooths the hair and opens it up but doesn’t flatten it,” Babaii explains.

And I don’t remember all of the couples named, Nick Lachey and Jessica, Ethan and Umma, Tom and Nicole, therefore I will post what was relevant. The sample was about 6700 people. Well based on this survey 37% wanted Reese and Ryan together, and 27% wanted x and Brad to get back together. This 27% must be the ones who are blogging here at JJ’s and other places. When will they realize that it is not going to happen? Peace

Believe me if Angie had kept Voight for stage purposes like Halle did…you can best believe her kids wouldn’t be named Voight-Pitt either. It goes to show, and is a great lesson to all women, that no matter how you try to polish and artificially correct your appearances, you still lose out to someone who is interested in polishing the inside. Angie said she felt she needed to study about human rights and the plight of others, immersed herself in reading about it.
No matter how you fine-tune the angle of your nose (Clini–I think that’s what she had it done–very very subtle correction of yet another “deviated Septum”–thus slightly pulled-down eyes/slanted eyes) you are just as silly and frivolous, enough for a man like Brad, a devoted family man and a charitable man, never to look back once leaving her.
Fellinelilly: I just remember that after 9/11 some politicians here wanted to re-name french fries to american fries- hahahaha-that was funny and stupid. My co-workers and I are pretty much into trying different food from different countries. We’ve tried Ukrainian food, Greek, Indian, Italian, Thai or Asian food. Hawaiian food also. No, I don’t mind. I work in a hospital lab and went back to school in the fall for my tech degree. It’s all on-line and I do my clinicals at work. The only problems I have had so far started when I began posting here - spending too much time with you all and not enough time doing homework. :D

Estelle and anoble–hey my sons are less than two years apart, do you know how many times I left a grocery store witha full cart and begged the manager to keep them for me and I’d be back very soon to pay for them….Heck, one of the boys would have a hissy fit and I didn’t want to bother the rest of the shoppers so I’d just leave :lol: and come back later and pay for it…. Awww, those were the good old days, I wish they were that young now :-) Now I deal with their tuitions and car insurance payments……. Arrrggghhhhh!!!!

The dresses she is wearing are horrible - they look like night gowns - htis is the 3rd one I have seen on her. I usually love the way she dresses - down or up - suits her - but these dresses are just horrid.

Hi Guli- I read your post with great interest. I have a 6 yr old girl and a 4 yr old boy. My son is a menace!!! He is in the “it’s mine” stage, and telling me no. He is so stubborn- and really driving me crazy because no punishment seems to bother him!
Hey Estelle—I’m glad you can relate since I despised the mom’s that let their kids have a fit and do nothing about it, but the worst was watching them hit them or yelll at them to make them stop!!! I found it so much easiar to just leave….b/c kids at that age will act up….Having said that, I need to add that as many as young kids as the JP’s have I am so impressed how well behaved they all are….many kudos to JP’s for being great parents…JMHO :-)

See, there are not too many celebrities I can laugh at without feeling guilty. But x is definitely one of them because she really really wants it. And as one middle aged woman looking at another middle aged woman (yes, shock horror, but x is middle aged), I find her actions utterly hilarious in the context of a middle aged woman.
Here is a woman who just a couple of years ago laughing at men who have an eye lift or whatever (”you can always tell”) - implying that perhaps, Brad has had his done, lying about a deviated septum. Now here you have x, just a year or two later who looks like she’s had EVERYTHING DONE to her face so that she is barely recognisable. Don’t you find that just a little bit hilarious??? Personally, I find it quite hilarious.
But rest assured, I will never insult x by calling her fugly, or saying that her chin is too big or that she needs to change her hair style. (I’ve seen her with her hair pulled back and I agree with her stylist that she should always wear her hair half over her face.)
And rest assured, I would never laugh at someone like Britney, who may be trying to get attention too, but who is clearly sick and manipulated by her hanger ons. It’s just too sad. I only wish for Britney to get the right treatment and to get healthy again and be able to be a great mother to her kids.
