She’s getting “along” in years, as they say. If they get married they better make some babies quick, before her innards shrink or whatever. 35 is the traditional cutoff age, is it not? After 35 if you have a kid, he or she will be a freak, right?

I didn’t say I think Jake is gay. He is probably straight, but possibly bi. Bi would be conceiveable. But he is WEIRD. I watched him last night on Conan. Of course the viewer wasn’t told that the show was over a year old, but that became apparent when Jake used it to push Rendition (”that will be coming out soon”). Disgusting that these late night shows are reruns. Anyhoo, Jakey spent most of the short time he had on the show making funny noises and talking in a falsetto voice. Very odd. The funny noises were supposed to be how Japanese girl fans sound. Not really all that funny. I recall reading somewhere that a guy who knew him years ago on Martha’s Vineyard (where Jakey’s parents have a vacation home) said that he spent most of his time doing weird imitations of people in silly voices, etc. Jakey only SEEMS normal because he covers up his essential weirdness, one might suspect. He’s a genuine product of HollyWEIRD, that’s for sure.
PS There was a piece in the British newspaper Independent on the 12 greatest movie kisses. Of course the Jake/Heath kiss from Brokeback was #1. And they had a clip of it slow motion. Very interesting. It shows Heath really smacking Jakey right hard on the lips and poor Jakey looks a bit confused and bewildered. Quite convincing. I would guess it was so convincing that that is why people think Jakey is really gay.

I like Jake’s “weirdness”. You could say the same of most actors. Heath Ledger was always “weird” in interviews, fidgeting and nervous, so are other actors. I think weirdness is part of their expression. So what if Jake does silly imitations. He can give a great interview too like on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and on Ellen.

Re; Jakey. I saw a new item recently about a Hollywood bar called Mood where someone got stabbed. Looking further into Mood I discovered that in the past Jakey and Kirsten Dunst (or Drunkst, as PerezHilton calls her) were to be seen there at times. I suspect that might have been where Jakey first came to know that Kirsten tippled a bit too much. She came to be seen by him, I would guess, as souse material rather than spouse material. I doubt he ever goes to Mood anymore. I doubt he much enjoyed going there before. I don’t get the impression he is much into nightclubbing and drinking, and that is why he has bonded with Witherspoonbread who is pretty straight too. So here’s to Jakey and his clean clean lifestyle. Stay nice and clean, Jakey. Hollyweird needs a few like you.

A man was stabbed and critically wounded early this morning by a fellow patron at a Hollywood nightclub known for its high-profile celebrity clientele, Los Angeles police said.
The man, in his 20s, was stabbed in the stomach about 1:30 a.m. during a fight over a woman inside Mood, a club in the 6600 block of Hollywood Boulevard. The victim then collapsed near a neighboring hotspot, Geisha House, said Officer Kate Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department.
