Katie Holmes For Armani — Her First Fashion Line
Katie Holmes‘ foray into fashion is just around the corner as she will release her own clothing line called Katie Holmes for Armani, reports OK!
Using daughter Suri, 23 months, as inspiration, Katie’s first collection, out spring 2009, will be designed for toddlers.
But that’s not all! Mrs. Cruise, 29, will then create a line for older children for Fall 2009 and then women’s clothes and handbags for Fall 2010.
Katie Holmes For Armani will be available at department stores including Saks, Barney’s, and Neiman Marcus.

and news and ofcourse when news is sloowwww they make up stuff.
Someone is overrating her talent and appeal. She could not possible be doing this. She has never dressed well on her own. I suppose marrying Tom Cruise afforded her some more expensive attire and possibly an image consultant that pulls off a decent look 10% of the time but it is ridiculous to think that it is due to her own eye for fashion. No one likes her at all anymore but no one ever liked her for being fashionable.

Thank God it is a rumor, because the clothes she has been wearing are awful! She doesn’t have very good taste and I think if she did have a clothing line, it would be a disaster.

Please tell me this is a joke? She only became stylish while with Tom, so now she is a designer? I don’t think so. The only reason she is a part of this is because of Tom. No way will I purchase anything of hers ( I mean Tom’s), so ridiculous.
If I had kids I wouldn’t buy anything with her name on it. She dresses her own spawn like she’s an old Armish woman.
Bless her fo trying hard but I would NEVER buy “her” designs. And when did desiging become the new fallback career? Mad money was a huge flop.. so maybe she needs a hobby that gets her out of the house every once in a while.
