Madonna & Guy Ritchie: Still Going Strong

Geez, what a total publicity stunt. Wonder how she forces him to pose for these things.

they are legally married and i doubt it’s a publicity stunt. they go out to eat all the time, even before the rumors started. o wait, the rumors have been going on since they got married. so…i guess it’s been an 8 year-long publicity stunt.

Madonna can never win.

If she isn’t seen with Guy, people think they are about to split. If she is photographed with her husband, people think it’s a publicity stunt.

She looks great and Guy is looking HOT.

No, elsie, your logic is faulty and your accusations of “attention-getting” and “life-getting” could be said of you as well (but I won’t accuse you of something that makes no sense).

If you’ve been paying attention to the gossip at all, the rumor was that Madonna & Guy haven’t been seen together ANYWHERE since January. Most notably, Guy didn’t show up to at least 2 important events for Madonna, namely the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame induction.
And a big deal was made of it in the Daily Mail earlier today, maybe yesterday.

What makes it seem as if it’s a publicity stunt is the lightening-fast response of the couple in question. How quickly they showed up in public after the rumor was publicized!

But it’s no surprise, for Madonna is doing her usual thing, responding to outside stimuli.

Liz, once again, you’re wrong. They have been out/about! Of course they have, please do some research before you judge other people’s lives. Once again you’re one of those people who believes the press and the media and thinks because it’s written that M/G haven’t been seen since January, that this is the truth. Go look at some sites that actually update a bit accurately and you’ll realize you’re wrong. Besides, it’s not like they’re like Paris or Britney and actually want to be photograped every single day.

Also, there have been breakup rumors ever since they GOT MARRIED. The press makes this up, that’s how they sell magazines.

Sure, she is out/about with him now, but that’s because she was in NYC for like a month. Isn’t it a bit normal to go out with your spouse after you’ve been away for a while? I think so.

It’s surely a bit of a coincidence and yes, I believe that maybe she wants to show that “all is good”, just so they leave her friends/fam alone and don’t call them a thousand times a day with questions about their marriage.

Even if she was at home with him for another two months you’d say she’d not let him go out for publicity, but the truth is that there are tons of pictures out there of Guy out/about on his own, that don’t make the press, as he’s not that famous as she is. So it’s always something, isn’t it? Even if she’d do nothing at all anymore and stop working and just have a happy family life, you’d still be saying it’s a publicity stunt, yet she has nothing to promote.

Of course she has something to promote: HERSELF!

As for my research, I provided you with my source, the Daily Mail. If they’re wrong, I’d appreciate you proving it with a photo or link of your own that shows that they have actually been seen together since January since you are the better researcher.

On another note, you don’t need to post the same comment numerous times. Just once will suffice.

The fact that Guy wasn’t there for the hall of fame doesn’t mean anything. When two people work they have commitments they cannot get out of, that’s life. Plus I’m not sure if any of you have seen any documentaries of Madonna, but Guy always appears as one who is not at all interested in the media hype and fame. He does what he wants and feels like doing. I’m pretty sure Madonna adores this from him, since he has something she never had = normalcy.

And if they are ‘on the rocks’ we’ll know in due time. No point in speculating, our comments won’t change anything.

It don’t take much to pop in for pictures. Then post your pr people to kill divorce talk. I think she is afraid of losing little David in a nasty break up so she is trying to hide the seperation. It’s funny how she is going to raise the kids with her living in US and him back in England. That is what his dad said.

Boy, some people on this board must really be sooooooooo miserable to always look at the dark side of things. It probably makes them feel better to think that someone else’s marriage is breaking up even if it isn’t. Misery loves company. What losers.

I’m glad to see that the Ritchies are OK. Even if they did deliberately go out for dinner just for the photo op, they made the effort, which says something. They’re together.
