Mariah Carey just unveiled the artwork for her latest album, E=MC² (meaning: “Emancipation equals Mariah Carey to the second power”), which will be released April 15.
The 38-year-old diva is on the cover, looking pretty naked, but holding up a fur blanket.
And you won’t be able to get enough of Mariah on American Idol next month. She’s going to be on it three times! Tune in April 9th to see Mariah on Idol Gives Back, April 15th to see her mentor the remaining contestants and April 16th for a performance.

HOT!!!! Love the LEGGGGGGGSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! As a stone cold fan of MC since 1990, I know the haters r going to hate HARD!!!! This cover is exceptional. Since the media insists on calling it the battle of the Divas, BY FAR Mariah’s cd cover is leap years better than Janet and Madonna. Not to slight Janet (because I will totally be at her concert) or Madonna (loved her during the Bedtime Stories/Girlie Tour era), but MC knows where it’s at. Haters, bring it on!!!!! All hail MARIAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree that the tracks we’ve heard for this new album are mediocre at best, & now this album cover. Nudity aside, having that fur on their is less than classy. So I can only infer that she wants to insult people who enjoyed her last album, and animal sympathizers/lovers.

There is a TRUE report from last year about an overzealous, rich Russian man who purchased 2 real fur coats for Mariah. She did not accept them. She immediately turned them over to PETA.
