Nahla Ariela Aubry is Halle Berry’s Daughter
Halle Berry’s daughter’s name is: Nahla Ariela Aubry (pronounced “GNAW-lah ARE-ee-EL-uh”), reports Access Hollywood.
The baby girl, born Sunday, is the first for the 41-year-old Oscar winning actress and her model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, 32.
Little Nahla was born (by natural birth) at 7 pounds & 4 ounces.

I think the name Ariela is pronounced AR-ee-AY-la or something close to that, not the way it was originally posted. Nahla Ariela sounds really beautiful when pronounced hopefully correctly. I give points to Halle for being willing to undergo the pain of natural childbirth instead of wimping out of it like so many ’strong’ hollywood actresses do.
The “g” isn’t pronounced in the word “gnaw”…I really do not get why people think it’s a weird pronounciation. Just think of Nala in the Lion King and there ya go.
PS that is a shitload of Disney for one name

You have no idea what happened in the room…going natural does not mean having no pain relieve either. whats the big deal??? she isnt the first woman to have a baby…Besides she needed this kind of pain so she can now mature by more than 12years of age.
The name is ridiculous and poor kid..now she has to deal with a drongo mother and a name she would undoubtedly hate as she gets older..Well done to another laughable gesture by halle who thinks she is better than most…too humourous!!!

@ Nandos, Nicole Richie and J-Lo didnt pu$$y out!!! the only one dat did have a C-section dis year was X-Tina..with the excuse dat she was afraid of vajayjay tearing!!!! Am glad dat she had a natural birth..I think everyone shld experience a vajajay childbirth even if its with the help of an epidurol!!!

Many children born out of wedlock take the father’s last name. I do not understand why people decide to pick apart every little thing. They decided on the name of THEIR baby and that is their right.
I love the name Nahla…..since that happens to be my name as well :)
However, my parents chose to name me after the Nile River in Africa,
which means “dependable”…..and its spelled N-Y-L-A.; PRONOUNCED LIKE THE NILE RIVER ONLY WITH AN “A” AT THE END.

Wel it’s the fact that every1 has a choice to name their babies wateva they like. The name Nahla is so cute, I LOVE it. Giving the kid her father’s last name was the best move for both parents.

Yes, a beautiful child to be: I’m so very tired of the “hype” around Suri, Jolie-Pitt… Women have been having babies since creation (YES, “C-R-E-A-T-I-O-N) AND NOW THAT MEN ARE HAVING THEM–WHAT’S LEFT TO AWE ABOUT?
We have brother and sister tabby cats we named Simba and Nala. I think Nahla Ariela is a beautiful name … so what if it’s simular to Disney’s animated character’s. I bet she will love it as she grow up with it and I’m sure Halle will have no regrets!
