Zac Efron Goes Behind-the-Scenes in ‘17 Again’

New behind-the-scenes shots of Zac Efron and Michelle Trachtenberg in their new movie 17 Again will be featured in the April 2008 issue of teen mag J-14.

In the mag, actress pal Miley Cyrus said, “Zac Efron and I have become best friends, and all these girls are like ‘you’re so lucky, he’s so hot’. …I give him the hardest time about it. He’s like my brother.”

Producer Adam Shankman recently chatted up 17 Again: “This is about a man whose life has not gone the way he wants it to, so he wishes he was 17 again and he gets his wish. And then he’s realizing it’s nothing like he thought it would be. So it’s a reverse Big. It has as many funny scenes in it as it does heartfelt scenes.”

17 Again opens this summer — August 2008!

#15- you sound pretty damn bitter if you ask me. lol. we see them in the public eye only 5% of the time so you have NO idea how good of friends they really are, none of us do.

hahahahah! i love zac but hahah miley cyrus is NOT zac efron’s ‘best friend’ thats hilarious she’s just saying that to draw more attention in! if anything zac’s best friends are like his guy friends Vanessa (his girlfriend) and ashley tisdale and people like that sorry but miley has only been in one picture with him from like 2006! duh! wow she’s soo annoying!

I don’t mind Zac Efron but this isn’t even “good” news to talk about. What am I supposed to say? “He looks hot” or “Can’t wait to see the movie”???

I guess it’s cool you want people to “discuss” but you could have thrown more of a bone than a freaking teeny bopper blurb, a random Miley tidbit, and an old quote from the director if what you wanted from this “new” post was hits… just a thought.

I can’t wait to see this movie! I’m really looking forward to seeing Zac in something new, that isn’t a musical (ie HSM! ugh)

As for Miley, I think she’d say Brad Pitt was her best friend if she ever met him lol

They may be friends, through the whole Disney thing, but I doubt they’re friends that actually hang out or anything. She’s a child. She can just stick to having sleepovers with Vanessa and Ashley (creepy much?).

“Best friends” may be a bit of an exaggeration on Miley’s part but she is friends with Ashley and Vanessa so I have no trouble believing she and Zac have become friends by association. Who knows and what does it even matter? This is a pretty trival thing to take offense at. LOL

Okaaay some people have gotten a little confused at my statement. I never said Miley and Zac were not friends, I just said that it’s very likely that they’re not best friends. I’m not going to post untrue things about Miley like ‘omFG she’s so Uglyyy!11′ but I do not like her and the reason for that is because I find her attention seeking. And I sometimes do question the ‘friendship’ of Miley with Ashley & Vanessa, these girls are a lot older than her and we don’t really see any candids of Miley shopping with either of the girls.

Calling me jealous is ridiculous. I’m a huuge fan of both Vanessa & Ashley - don’t you think if I was gonna be jealous of somebody it’d be his girlfriend or a close friend that he actually IS photographed with and are near his age?

I really do find Miley very ‘ooh paparazzi look at me, ooh media’. Sorry Miley fans. Just my opinion. And I think the only reason she said this statement is to get more gossip sites/magazines writing about her. This doesn’t offend me as such, rather just annoys me and pees me off a little bit. I just think she’s milking the paparazzi and media for all it’s worth and that the industry she’s in shouldn’t be all about that, even if it is a major part of it.
