Zac Efron Goes Behind-the-Scenes in ‘17 Again’
New behind-the-scenes shots of Zac Efron and Michelle Trachtenberg in their new movie 17 Again will be featured in the April 2008 issue of teen mag J-14.
In the mag, actress pal Miley Cyrus said, “Zac Efron and I have become best friends, and all these girls are like ‘you’re so lucky, he’s so hot’. …I give him the hardest time about it. He’s like my brother.”
Producer Adam Shankman recently chatted up 17 Again: “This is about a man whose life has not gone the way he wants it to, so he wishes he was 17 again and he gets his wish. And then he’s realizing it’s nothing like he thought it would be. So it’s a reverse Big. It has as many funny scenes in it as it does heartfelt scenes.”
17 Again opens this summer — August 2008!

Karen, I agree. These articles are geared to the tween-age Drama Queens. They eat this stuff up like cotton candy and then run to school and gossip about it: “OMG did you HEAR . . .”
I saw that spread, too, and wondered why they didn’t use ONE of the many Palm Springs pics or the HSM2 DVD red carpet. They chose pictures that would go along with what they were saying. And did you notice, they even cut out the friend with whom Zac went to the game? Why? Because they said he was ALONE at the game.
The sad thing is, young kids with little or no reasoning powers take these stories as the gospel truth. Many of them don’t even know that Zac and Vanessa are making movies.
The one teen magazine that I’ve found to be reputable is Popstar. The reason I think this is because they had a list of rumors in several issues. And they went directly to Zac and asked him if they were true. And he said yes or no and explained them in his own words.
They also have a True or False section and explain how certain rumors got started.

Yes, it seems PopStar has been quite reliable. Maybe that is why they have gotten so many wonderful pics of Vanessa and Zac together like the the merry-go-round pictures and the ones for the posters in the Zanessa magazine.

addy: Just how does someone go about like they are so cute? Do they carry a mirror around with them or something? The picture on this thread is a still from his new movie coming out in August. He is in front of a camera doing a scene with another actor. So, I would like to know just how he is acting like he thinks he is so cute. AND if he does truly think he is cute, then how does he know he isn’t all at the same time?
