Leighton Meester is Very Versace
Leighton Meester rubs shoulders with designer Donatella Versace at the Barney’s New York launch of Versace menswear on Tuesday in New York City.
Of course Gossip Girl’s queen of mean wore the designer’s threads in the form of a gorgeously draped blue dress. Leighton finished off her look with white hot accessories — pointy pumps, studded clutch and matching wristband.
Blair Waldorf and the gang returns with new eps on April 21.

Gorgeous. I think she looks a bit like Rachel Bilson in some photos…not really these ones.
I prefer Leighton to Blake. I think the character of Serena was hyped up in the books to be this incredibly gorgeous girl - yet in the show I find Blair (Leighton) a lot prettier. As do a lot of people. :/ Blake’s still pretty though.

I don’t know who the actress is but I was drawn to the beautiful color and style of the dress. It goes well with her looks, hair, coloring and body shape. It’s also nice to see a “natural” woman.
One more thing: too bad we can’t see the back of the dress. It must be “drapey” and pretty.
Donatella looks sick. I think it’s ironic that Allegra is batteling anorexia. I wish her well though.
